where is the change because you reincarnate from children age?. I feel you just reincarnate just before episode 1. love the snark BTW.

I really like this story, but I seriously hope that the Shinichi x Ran pairing doesn’t happen. It isn’t because he was a girl, I don’t care much for the KaidouShin pairing. Ran is amazing too, but I love when people break canon and sticking with the canon pairing for the MC is just boring to me.

I have always wanted for Kudo to disappear and for Conan to stay as he is, growing up and giving up on your first love, moving on and letting Ran move on too. Their relationship was pretty unhealthy in canon. I know this isn’t the case here, but I really think if they started dating in high school they would have broke up eventually or they would have married and divorced because Ran would have probably one day made him chose between their family and a case. Shinichi would always pick the case, not because he doesn’t love her but because it would eat him up, probably Ran would see this and she would understand it but she would still be pretty unhappy about it.

The Kudo’s each had goals of their own and their priorities straight, they love each other but their love doesn’t consume them to the degree it did with Ran and Shinichi (in canon). Ran’s Parents couldn’t find this balance (there was also that shooting incident).

I also think your Shinichi could give a relationship with Ran a chance, but she is so young and naive in a way Shinichi isn’t that their differences would catch up with them eventually, not to mention the secrets that I am absolutely against of him revealing to her (or anyone really). (Telling someone about reincarnation never ends well, it just makes you roll your eyes when you read a scene like that).

Hattori said Shinichi holds back a lot, and it’s true. So even if Ran is his closest friend, there has always been a part of him that he couldn’t reveal to her and you can talk about about Ran’s love being enough to accept anything about Kudo. But look at the bigger picture here, she is just a 17 years old high school girl. She shouldn’t be expected to deal with all the ...well, baggage Shinichi has. I think he realizes this in a way and that’s why he holds back on her, but I also think that he knows he isn’t as in love with Ran and she is with him.

So yeah, I am against them getting together. I wrote a really long explanation but it’s mostly because it would be predictable and boring. (I also think it wouldn’t be good, nor fair, nor healthy for poor Ran). But it’s your story so even if I would hate it, it’s your decision if they get together or not. (...I really hope not.)

When I read this story,I feel it’s too fast paced,and they can never keep anything secret. I would have thought sinichi’s at least ok in the hiding thing,and I still dk if he likes ran or no. XD

Kaito,careful when Shinichi catches you. And playing with a girl’s feelings is NOT cool.
