CKL chapter 10 . 3/12 Love times three. I really wish there was a fourth sequel. |
Christie553 chapter 1 . 7/19/2018 Kinda feel like the dog's missing |
jenny47 chapter 10 . 11/11/2017 I recently re-read the Juice Cups and Coffee Mugs trilogy. A while back I re-read the Advent story in this universe. They are all so good! So, I found myself wondering what the Castle family has been up to this past year. I do hope you are planning another Advent style story. (or anything, really) I really love how you have imagined the post series struggles and triumphs of Rick and Kate. Not only a good plot - but beautifully written as well. More, please. (btw, I have become a real fan of your writing style. Currently reading "A Living Fire". Plan to get the others on Amazon as well.) |
Guest chapter 10 . 3/23/2017 Really, really loved reading this trilogy. I loved your vision of what happened after the shooting and can totally see Castle & Beckett behaving this way. Thanks for writing & sharing. |
gkregan chapter 10 . 1/7/2017 I loved your trilogy of what happened after the end of Castle! The struggles, the angst, the dog, all of it! Now, going to read Spirits! Thank you! |
elaesela chapter 10 . 12/16/2016 It was a nice way to get them on the road again, Kate's feelings and Castle's recovery, to come back to life. I was impressed by the way you took it, through three stories, to show how the future is reached and in the end you leave them to the imagination but nevertheless you show them, the way they had to walk to get there to that future. Thank you! (Now understood all this, to continue reading the Christmas story) |
Tercay chapter 10 . 12/8/2016 SO awesome and powerful story. Hope you keep the AU going. Thank you. You made me laugh and cry. -Terry |
leuska chapter 10 . 10/22/2016 Hah, I definitely have to admit, I didn't see the story to turn around like this! (Them having a boy and the whole juice cups being really a dream to jump-start their life after the finale shooting). I really thought u would go the finale way, but you surprised again and for that, you have my deepest admiration. Would there be things I'd love to see/read happen? Absolutely. Would I wish u might write some things differently? Tbh, yes. But,that said, I loved that you took the liberty to go your own way, the less traveled way, they "uncanon" way, despite we will never be for sure what Canon even you went your own way which once again showed what an independent,unique- thinking author you are. I wish life was a fairly tale, I guess that's why I am often drawn to fiction so much, to books that beat the odds, when there is so much ugly in the world,I want to get lost in something nice instead. But life is not a fairy tale and you very skillfully show that only though smt doesn't end up like a fairytale, doesn't mean it still can't be nice and worthwhile and great. So yes, I admit, I did not expected to story to go this way. Doesn't mean I am disappointed in how it turned out. Different. Yet still heartfelt. Thank you,Laura, for everything you are, as well for everything you are not. |
leuska chapter 4 . 10/21/2016 Lauraaa! I finally got to reading juice cups... And I love every second of it! Castle taking on boxing to deal with his anger, seeing Burke and being concerned for what the pregnancy will do to her body, Beckett turning back to the twelfth but in exchange for their testimonies as well as castle taking on a new, risky project of writing again. I guess with Kate back to her "normal", she has a little easier a time in adapting back. Plus, she doesn't have the nightmares. I love how tender and considerate they are of each other, how they talk about the baby. How they try for the other and how they want to make it a fun experience for them both in spite of the circumstances. I love it all and I wish I could let you know how much.:) the whole concept of "the two of us against the world", I adore this! |
girl who casts no shadow chapter 10 . 10/12/2016 I really enjoyed this. It was filled with what I can only imagine we'd all love to get the chance to see it never did. Really this is tremendously good. I only wish you'd write more in this realm...perhaps when they have their other children. It's such a wonderful little world that it's hard to part with this one. |
1822andallthat chapter 10 . 9/25/2016 Kate's mood and anger felt very true, you know? Hormones are powerful things. Things aren't usually that fast, esp for a 1st-born, but time is elastic in those moments, so it may as well be in fics too. I couldn't find myself in your AN. I do believe some mistakes were made in the narration throughout the later seasons especially, and I like to fill in the blanks as I wish, through fic or my own imagination. And yet I choose to accept their happy future as shown in the show. There is still plenty to build around it to fill my daydreams. But like you said, that's the beauty of it : we're all free to do as we choose. Thank you for your take on filling those gaps. :-) |
FluffyFierce chapter 10 . 9/25/2016 Eloquently written, a beautiful story I was a little teary. Thank you |
FluffyFierce chapter 9 . 9/25/2016 A beautiful pregnancy fic, where we see the character growth of Rick and Kate, neither in any way diminished. Thank you for breathing life into a patchy season 8 and making it make sense. |
Mark C chapter 10 . 9/24/2016 A wonderful way to end this amazing story. |
xfbikerchick chapter 10 . 9/23/2016 Just finished the trio of fics and all I can say is WOW. |
