I loved this. The show rarely depicts the brothers struggling with this sort of stuff, but we know they have to. I think you did it justice. I was especially struck by the line "He would rather be in the Apocalypse with Dean than in Paradjse without him." Beautifully sums up their relationship and connection. Wow, this is truly powerful. I think you captured Sam's thoughts perfectly (at least according to how I see the character.) I also think that Sam struggles more than we see on the show. They boys are certainly irrevocably co-dependent, but I actually think that Sam has proven to have more difficulty "going on" without Dean than Dean does "going on" without Sam. Thanks for this great story, it's one of my favourites.

Very heavy subject matter, indeed, but you handled it very well. Sam's thoughts felt real and true. Nicely done.

I really liked it. I thought you brought up a lot of valid points. Sam totally feels this way and it's written in all of his body language. And it pains me that he went from a happy go lucky child, rebellious teen and student trying to make his life and those around him better, to thinking he's not good enough for someone to love him. Ever since he found out about his destiny, he's been like that and it's heartbreaking. You really summed it up!

I liked it a lot. Very well written, made me smile and made me sad. Really got to the heart of what the brothers are all about.

Ohhh this was so sad yet so awesome! I love the way you write in general and th way you're analyzing every aspect, every point of view of this pisode(an episode I loved from the first time I watched it!)
I always wanted someone to write about that picture of Bobby, Elen,Jo, Sam, Dean and Cas... But i think that the only copy was the one Bobby had and he burned it in the fireplace.
As for the question if Charlie loved the boys so much as to die for them, I think she really, really did love them!
Last, but not least, I think that memories do hurt but they do make us stronger, becase in the end, he leaves some glief locked inside his room. (Awesome ending you wrote!)
