Given they took out The Mountain in this fight I'd say whatever the downsides this victory may prove to have, it's still a good bonus. Though now I'm curious what this could mean for Dorn's involvement in the future. It was nice seeing Jon not only perform well enough in battle that he was able to cross swords with Jaime and not lose (however brief the fight was), but it was also good to see him stick to his morals and prevent needless bloodshed even though he is aware that's going to cost him sooner rather than later. Looking forward to what's next.

Okay, this was a nice little chapter from Jaime's POV as we see the fighting start, good job in matching his personality regarding his thoughts on the war. I'll see how the battle turns out next chapter...

Well, this was a nice new POV change as we see more from Mira's POV. Admittedly I haven't played the Telltale game so I'm not sure how much of that is in this, but I can say you are doing a good job getting her more involved in the plot and in the process giving some actual weight to a war being bad for both sides of the conflict. I admit it did seem a little much for her to have that much info on the Faceless Men, but from what I remember from the books some nobles are aware of them and some aren't so I'll admit it's justifiable enough. I'll be checking out the next chapter when I can.

Finally had time to read a new chapter and yeah this is very interesting in how much things have changed on the Starks' side. Given Robb's position of leadership in the North is now tenuous compared to canon I get the feeling the Boltons may end up in charge of the North even without stuff from canon happening. Also nice job establishing Jon's being caught between two sides; in some ways making it a more difficult one given he got on good terms with Tyrion's faction way easier than with the Wildlings plus the conundrum of while he's on his family's side the majority of that side outside his family circle don't like him very much, yet while he has more friends on the opposing side, said opposing side is ultimately ruled by an unquestionable villain. It is also interesting to see Arya reunite with her family early in canon, the only downside is no ninja training...also she pretty much signed Mira's death warrant, literally. Curious to see how all this turns out, and I'll be checking out the next chapter when I can.

How did Catelyn almost kill Jon?

Not very much to say here since this is pretty similar to canon, though I am interested in seeing just how things play out with the alternative match up for Joffrey given the obvious (and titular) difference from canon. Also curious how things are going to go for the Hound in this continuity given we're at the point where the books started humanizing him.

Sadly only have time for one chapter today (while you're guaranteed work and pay as an essential worker these days, the downside is the large amount of work), but this was a good one as you always put out. While we won't get the interesting interactions between Arya and Tywin (one of the better show originals) in this timeline you are making it up by first having Tyrion's influence be felt with at least part of the Lannister faction trying to make a good reputation and second, the buildup you're starting of things being different from canon for Arya has me very interested in seeing where it goes.

Now I hope Littlefinger isn’t as douchelike he normally is and kidnaps Sansa. And I wonder if Catelyn is gonna say anything about the proposed kidnapping

Well, at least Margaery and Tyrion can swap family squabble stories. By the way, good job foreshadowing the falling out Margaery and Loras would have over Tyrion starting from way back in the story. Am curious how things are going to turn out in this scenario given things still seem set for Renly to meet his canon fate, though if that's the case I'm guessing it's Margaery that Brienne will be leaving with instead of Catelyn. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.

Finally had time to read some more and this was definitely a good one. Seeing Tyrion taking charge is nice and while there are quite a few moments from both canons some of the already established differences gave them a fresh feel and seeing as Tyrion's position of power is much more secure than in either canon it should be interesting to see how far his accomplishments go this time. I am especially curious to see how Tyrion's plan for the Greyjoys goes, also curious what you're going to do with Dorne given Oberyn is pretty much safe from his canon fate.
