This entire chapter was brilliant, but WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME CRY?! I AM SO SAD RIGHT NOW! Aria's goodbye scene with Raizen was so perfect and heart-breaking, and I'm gonna go cry some more.

I finally made it to the end of what youve posted so far! Yay! But at the same time... nooooooooo! Bah. I didnt want it to end lol. Loving it so far. Cant wait for more, im excited to see how you write up on the demona tourny hehe.

THIS CHAPTER WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

You know how much I love Aria, but it was so awesome to read so much from Reiko's perspective! The way she put Yusuke in his place was amazing, and her conversation with Raizen was very telling. I think it showed who they both are, and the way they are with each other is very interesting. Then that ending...it killed me! Reiko's thoughts during Yusuke's fight with Sensui were so well-written and emotional, and I loved it ALL.

Seriously, hun, this was an AMAZING update!

I'm not a huge fan of the Sensui arc as a whole, I like a few episodes/scenes, but that's it. So I'm totally okay with you skipping that arc to get back to Demon World sooner! I miss my fave demons. Alright, now Iet's get to reading this chapter!

Oh, wow...That was one incredible opening scene! You weaved in just enough of the known dialogue to paint a perfect picture of everything that was going on as you mixed in your own stuff, and it was all just so amazing! I am officially in awe. (Then again, I'm always in awe when I read your stories. Still, you've outdone yourself this time!)

So now Aria is awake! On a boat! With everyone! And she just tossed Reiko overboard. I love mah woman, but that's just hilarious. Yay for Kurama! He's such a boyscout, always prepared for anything. I love the banter between everyone. It's like all that negativity from the tournament has been washed away, and Reiko's return was awesome! Maybe not for Yusuke though. lol.

The car ride was interesting...especially the end. I'm glad that Yusuke has picked up on things. I think it'll make things easier for him later on, when Aria does tell him the truth. And I absolutely loved the moment between Aria and Atsuko! I'm so glad that Atsuko knows the truth, even though it probably makes her worry like crazy, because she does deserve to know what her son gets up to on the regular.

Ooh, what is Reiko up to? SO MUCH MYSTERY! I NEED TO KNOW!

I love it when Hiei gets all homicidal. It's so cute. Especially since he really thinks he can fight Aria and win. I can't wait for her to reveal herself and blow everyone's minds.

That ending is a little ominous...I can't wait to see what you have planned! Because I know it's going to be amazing :)

First off, you know you don't have to thank me for listening to you talk about your SUPER-MEGA-AWESOME story! Especially since you put up with my ramblings in return lol Now, on to the chapter!

I love Reiko. I love Aria too, of course, but Reiko will forever be mah woman in this story. So I'm only one line into the chapter and I'm already smiling like a loon. Ooh, Aria is locked in on someone...Tadashi! I love that Aria just straight-up grabbed him and started questioning him, and I'm curious about his answers. OMG, Tadashi, WHAT?! I'm getting so many bad vibes off of him, but I just laughed because he literally NOPE'd right out of the conversation. I've got a feeling that we'll be seeing him again in the future. (Also, I love shadow demons. They're so much fun to play with, aren't they?)

Poor Ami. So lost and confused. Sit with Aria and her friends. They're a little crazy, but they're the good guys. Oh, Botan...it's going to be okay. I'm so glad that Aria comforted her, because I hated seeing Botan so upset.

I love that Aria was like "I'd totally kill them all" as her reason for not being the fifth member. She's so calm about it, but she's also 100% right. Kyo is too. Kinda hard to stay under the radar when you kill that many people. Oh man, I would have paid money to see Aria punching Youko again. (Again lol) There's so much going on, but Kyo helping Botan out by offering to go get snacks? That was a sweet moment. GO, YOUKO! (This is so much harder to read when I know what's going to happen.) It's a good thing Reiko zapped Aria, because things are only going to go downhill for our dear Kurama. But he's still alive, and Reiko is going to heal him! Okay, I feel a little better now.

I love the Hiei vs Bui fight! I mean, I freaked out the first time I watched it, but now when I rewatch it? It's so much fun! Hiei might be a little dude, but he's such a BOSS in that fight! Aria isn't wrong either. Hiei's definitely hot. (Pun totally intended.) I love that you mentioned how strong Shizuru's spirit energy is, because I think she's got a lot of spirit energy and just doesn't realize it. (If trained, she'd totally beat everyone. Just sayin'.)

I can't wait to see everyone's reactions to Aria revealing the truth about who she is. I'm sure it'll be...interesting. And I loved the moment between Aria and Ami! Telepathic, hmm? That opens up all sorts of possibilities. The ending was really sweet too. Just Aria, Kyo, and Reiko. I am terrified of reading the next chapter, but it's gotta be done. So I'm off to read it now!

I know Kyo and Reiko have a complicated past, but I live the familiarity of their banter. They both know Aria so well, so they know she is not going to be happy when she wakes up. And I have this hilarious mental image of Reiko pacing and maybe even pulling at her hair while Kyo just sits back, completely resigned to his fate. They did make the right decision though.

I also completely agree with you on Mazoku demons. When they love, they love wholly and dangerously. So I can see Genkai dying setting Aria off, but I don't think Aria would ever forgive herself if she destroyed the island. Because there are other loved ones there too and innocents.

Poor Reiko. Being a seer can't be easy and it seems painful. Emotionally and physically. And...Aria is gone. Go get her, Kyo!

I love Aria. She's sedated, bound, and still determined. Only a true BAMF would dislocate their shoulder to get free and then bust out through a wall.

Oh, Genkai. Even though I know everything works out, it still hurts. And Tadashi...what's he doing lurking around there? I mean, I know it's an island but it's an island with a lot of space. I find his presence suspicious.

Now I'm reading Genkai's speech and crying just a little, because I love that quote. It's such a TRUE quote and Genkai is such an important figure...yup, I'm full out crying. I'm so glad Kyo is there now because Aria needs her closest friend.

Aria is going to check on Yusuke now. Oh, I know this is going to hurt. My heart is breaking for Yusuke and I totally understand why he's reacting angrily. It's the emotion he knows best, but Aria has been around for a lot longer and has experienced more heartbreak than Yusuke can imagine. The way they parted ways was sad but they both need time to themselves.

Ooh, that moment between Aria and Hiei was very interesting. I love that Hiei's reaction to being around someone stronger than him is to instantly fight them. *shakes head* Still, it was a very nice scene between them & Hiei needs to pay attention to Aria's advice.

That ending was done beautifully. The sibling type bond between Aria and Yusuke was nice to read. Because even though they fight, they still care about each other. Then the very end with Aria crying in the shower with Kyo and Reiko? It was so heartbreaking but with a hopeful ending. You wrote that beautifully. Absolutely beautifully.

Now I'm off to read the next chapter because I need more of this amazing story!

Kyo and Aria’s friendship is such a beautiful thing. It’s so uncomplicated, and he’s so loyal but it’s also more than just loyalty. Kyo truly LOVES Aria, and the bond between them is such a strong one. So seeing him worry about her is so heartbreaking. It’s clear that he wants to take care of her, to help her, but there isn’t really anything that he can do. I’m just having so many friend feels right now. Where can I get my own Kyo?

Ooh, I loved the little exchange between Kyo and Reiko as they talked about Hiei. I love the hints of foreshadowing so much, and Ami! And Tadashi! So they know each other? I’m very intrigued and so excited to see how they feature into the story later on!

NOO! You know that cave scene always gives me goosebumps and makes me want to cry. I know it was just a quick flash, but it’s just…ugh. Aria and Genkai have to watch, and Yusuke is in all that pain. **sniffles** I’m just going to keep reading now.

YOUKO! I love my Kurama, of course, but it’s always fun when Youko gets a chance to come out. I’m sure Aria is going to be upset that she missed out on seeing him, even if it was only for a moment. And now Shishi is getting into the ring. This is going to be fun. YOU TELL ‘EM, REIKO!

Okay, now Aria is asking the important questions! No! Stupid sight! It’s always riddles and black spots. (I feel that pain. Writing seers is tricky.) I totally understand why Aria got worried about Genkai, but she doesn’t need to worry. Genkai is about to kick some demon booty!

Now, I don’t hate Shishi, but all of the insults being hurled at him are hilarious. It’s good of them to take him down a peg or two! (And don’t think I didn’t see that Makoto mention! What’s with giving me all the feels in one chapter? Just kidding, please never stop writing all of the feels.)

I have missed this story so much! I know that life gets busy and you have other stuff, but I’m so glad you updated this! Thank you! And now I’m going to actually start reading the update lol

I hate that Aria is so sick. Because she’s such a badass, but I know she’s got to be in pain. And Kyo is hurting for her, and I bet Reiko feels guilty over not being able to do anything more for her. There’s just so many feels, and I need for Aria to get better. I also miss having all of them in their original forms. The changes are cool, but I like it when everyone can recognize them.

Ooh, Yusuke’s final test. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen it, I still get goosebumps whenever I think about that scene. But Aria and Kyo are going to see old friends, so that sounds like fun! Also, I totally laughed when Reiko told Hiei that what her and Kurama were talking about was nothing for him to concern himself with. I love Hiei, I do, but having people put him in his place will never fail to make me giggle.

Touya! Jin! Chu! I love all those guys, so I’m super happy to see them all in the same place! And I’m in love with Aria’s ice break. “Yusuke really kicked yall’s asses.” So true, and I love that they all had a laugh over it instead of getting defensive. That’s why those dudes are the best. Ooh, and then things got tense with Touya. Very tense. Good thing it’s Rinku to the rescue! (He really is a little cutie.) And I love that song! You should have heard the little squeal I let out when I saw it. Wait, actually, it was kinda embarrassing so it’s probably a good thing there’s no one around lol Then twister! You turned twister into a drinking game! (Is that a real thing? Because if so, it’s something I need to do. It’s going on my bucket list.) And Aria won! Go, Aria!

I love the sweet moments between Aria and Kyo. You know I’m a sucker for close friendships, and those two are definitely platonic life partners. I ship their friendship so hard. Aria watching after Yusuke…oh, reading that hurt. It gave me goosebumps, because it was like I could see the scene so clearly in my head. Poor Yusuke. That foreshadowing though! That was so perfectly executed! And now I’m all excited for the three kings arc, but I know that’s still a ways off. So I’ll be patient. (For now.)
