When you change speakers, start a new paragraph. Otherwise it's near impossible to keep track of who speaks.

The Jarl be Ballin all over these reviews. I'm a "her" by the way, haha! Imagine trying to hide and then like your cellphone goes off. I imagined that when reading the first part xD. Or when Victoria was strapped in the bed and an alien would just stroll her into the hive still strapped into the bed. Slightly humorous. Maybe having an alien buddy wouldn't be so bad. I'll call him kazzy-kun.

I am afraid I have to echo what Anonguestreader wrote in his review, I really enjoyed the first two chapters but not this one due to the way the Aliens communicated with each other.

I agree they probably communicate via telekinesis or some gestalt hive mind, but making them speak English with a human style intelligence ruins the story for me.

A large part of the Alien is that it is so other-wordly that we struggle to understand its actions or motives which lends an air of mystique to them which makes them interesting and unpredictable.

But don't forget the rule of cool, it's your story and if you think it's cool then stick with it !

Keep writing. This is a cool introduction for them. Say why hasn't he killed her. Will he explain why?

please continue and do not worry you are a strong writer. I have read so many of these that it is becoming easier to tell the thinkers and authors from the ramblers. you are indeed an an author with the ability to think up a concrete story.

I really wouldn't let one bad review discourage you too much. Personally, I wouldn't think an alien would save a human for the sake of saving one, but as you said, it is fan FICTION and this is a FICTIONAL species we're talking about here. Who really knows what an alien would or would not do. The alien gets its traits from its host, so it's not out of the question this would affect the alien's "personality" somewhat. Especially since humans are very individual based and I would imagine constantly using humans as hosts would produce aliens with more individuality. That idea seems to be supported in the movies since we can see some aliens are more clever than others.

I support the notion that aliens most likely communicate by telepathy. I doubt they have a language and probably send images to each other but for the sake of convenience, I definitely get why you have the dialogue in English. Alien 3 shows the alien can somewhat communicate with humans or at least influence them to do something.

As far as the other reviewer said, as far as aliens having sex goes, I'm not too sure what I think about that. Obviously they reproduce by eggs and have no need for sex to make more aliens. But! Not every species has sex solely just to reproduce (such as humans). There is also a deep sexual undertone in Alien and Alien Resurrection, especially Resurrection. Remember that scene where Ripley is being taken away by an alien and then her face and the music gets highly suggestive? Took me years to get it, but uh yeah, Ripley got boned by the alien lol. So blame Resurrection on human alien smut stories! In Giger's earlier designs of the alien (which is seen in Alien and Alien Isolation), the alien definitely looks male if you catch my drift.

Anyway sorry for the long review, just wanted to say your guess how the alien acts is as good as mine or anyone else's, so you write the story how you see fit. I definitely hope you didn't feel my last review was negative, didn't mean it that way haha
