Kyrianae Narii chapter 8 . 6/15 Eh it's been ages since you've added to this fic but it got me thinking... What about the horror genre? How many species out there with regularity go out of their way to scare themselves sometimes to the point of nightmares? And in a number of cases so much that they have to find 'better' ways to do so to get that same thrill? Not to mention the sub-genres of horror such as body horror verses say a slasher or psycological horror film. Honestly humans are pretty messed up with how far our imaginations will in regards to scaring eachother silly, and how far we've progressed in the art of fright... And hell don't even get me started on horror games, and how fecked up those can be. With all that... What the hell would alien speices think about us humans who go out of our way to scare ourselves and consider it the height of fun? (Oh... And Halloween. We sort of have a holiday nominally dedicated to it too huh?) |
Maxx chapter 1 . 5/12 What if they found out some humans like BDSM stuff(doesn't have to be like... detailed or anything) |
LukeAlanBundesen chapter 8 . 2/7 How about seeing a fictional character break the fourth wall? How would they react to someone in a book or a show realsing they're a fictional character? |
avidanApostle chapter 8 . 1/29 Ok so I don’t think you’re still adding to this, and this is less of a cultural thing than a biology thing, but humans are ridiculously good at endurance running. Sure, other species of animal are way faster than us, but we’re like the Energizer Bunny; we keep going and going and going. Probably the biggest reason we’re able to do this is our sweat. Other mammals have to stop and pant to cool down, but our sweat cools us off while we move. Just thought it was an interesting biology fact. |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/6 Kinky sex |
Guest chapter 8 . 1/6 Aliens reacting to medical surgery, like brain operation or maybe them reacting to nuclear power or something |
makaylamann51 chapter 7 . 12/13/2019 It's actually really interesting. The right hand dominance started developing during a time when our species was much more active in day to day life. Women couldn't just stop doing chores around the village or havesting the crops just because they had a baby. So they would have the baby with them while they work, and because listening to their mother's heartbeat calms babies down the mother's would hold them on their left side. Thus they had to learn to rely mostly on their right hand |
Guest chapter 3 . 7/21/2019 The most in port ant part of this chapter? Who said the last sentence? |
kimtrg chapter 4 . 7/15/2019 I think my piercing just got an infection and I’m so sad rn |
nextgen00 chapter 8 . 7/8/2019 If you're still taking suggestions on this, maybe one on the variance in comfortable temperature range? I like the cold while my sister thrives in the heat. I imagine the paladins probably have varying preferences, which may confuse Coran as to why each room is such a different temperature. |
Jeptwin chapter 8 . 5/23/2019 I like this chapter |
Jeptwin chapter 7 . 5/23/2019 Yeah... human sexuality would probably be strange to aliens, but like... way too complicated |
Jeptwin chapter 6 . 5/23/2019 Yeah no. Human zoo is big no. Just look at Futurama. Also Keith is hilariously indestructible by survival standards |
Jeptwin chapter 5 . 5/23/2019 We do love to poison ourselves. Yet does it count as poison if humans are pretty much one of the most durable and immune species on the planet? Like literally I think in terms of survivability despite having no actual way to protect ourselves from predators (aside from our brains) we were kinda like an ultimate species anyway. We literally WALKED our prey to death, we have a very low degree of allergies or toxins that affect us, and we have hyperactive scar tissue and metabolisms that make us very physically strong. In fact a lot of the diseases that affect us have to constantly evolve into new strains just to keep up! |
Jeptwin chapter 4 . 5/23/2019 So does Shiro have a Jacob’s Ladder or a Prince Albert? Also, interestingly despite the sensitivity there it’s apparently one of the safest places to get a piercing along with the nose and ears (obviously) due to lack of permanent damage (apparently since the tongue is a muscle it’s not good to pierce it because it scars easily and isn’t meant to be messed with. Also I love the idea of Shiro with a tattoo because that would be awesome. I’ve always thought about getting one but I don’t know where I would or what it would be so I’ve refrained for now |
