Opals are better than diamonds because they are more rare & have a more subtle beauty instead of being flashy like diamonds are, and it's tasteful since the diamonds are meant to highlight the opal in the necklace! That's right, I swoon for opals, not diamonds! And seriously that boy is densely in denial, I mean he felts the sparks, he should've woken up to his feelings!
