Always nice to see an update, especially from a story that is as unique as this one. Great chapter, delving into Malygos' experiences here. Considering what happens in WoW canon, it's nice to see him actually sane and caring for his family.

Next chapter we get to see Louise reconciling with Malygos, possibly revealing his title of Spellweaver. Can't wait to see how you tie Kalegcos into his failings as a parent.

Huh, so Karin ISN'T a completely horrible person in this fic? That's a change from the usual. I mean, I still think she did a pretty shit job as a parent, but at least this version cares.

Now to look forward to Louise and Malygos having their talk... I'm curious to see just how much more Malygos is willing to bend his patience. Because even if this version of him is decidedly less insane than the canon interpretation, he's still a dragon that's literally older than dirt and a ruler in his own right. He's not going to appreciate being treated like a pet, even if his summoner is a child.

Alright...: generally have their familiars dress them - Nope. Louise only had Saito do that cause he was human... and she wanted to dominate him or something. I mean could you see a frog, owl, snake or bugbear dressing their summoners? I could maybe see her having a servant do so, but not a familiar.
