I hope she was just being dramatic for Godric's sake. Not to flame you or anything, but who says they'd die because of a stranger's death?

It could do with a rewrite. In the same chapter you said Sookie didn't know about her ability, she talked to Sookie about her ability as if it was known. Also, the whole living anime girl line was so Mary Sue I had to stop from leaving then and there. Just skip descriptions of what someone is wearing, no one cares what a fictional character wears once, and it wastes the crucial time in a first chapter to gain the reader's interest.
