Awesome story. I love their relationship when they are younger and then again later, in this last chapter. For some reason I really like it when they choose to do the right thing and then are rewarded for it later. It's probably because I think it's more in character for Clarisse not to break her wedding vows, though she might be tempted. Good job!

Um, we definitely needed this chapter! Not that the rest haven't been wonderful but this was just so sweet. I'm also so glad I saw in waiting in my inbox, I was looking for an excuse to dodge my homework for a bit so I'm super glad it was posted! As for your story, I just love them together and I didn't think the end was corny at all. It made me smile. I loved that he hung up and waited for her to call back so he could give a greeting, the second one made me smile, so very formal. I loved it. And I loved that Clarisse automatically corrected him, I usually correct kids and make them say "Yes Ma'am" and I find myself doing it to people who are not my students now! Habits! Anyway, I digress. This was awesome and I really hope you're working on that "what-if" scenario you were telling me about because I am quite intrigued by the thought! If not, whatever happens to come from you next, I know it will be awesome and I can't wait!

Finally I get to know where they went! You let me wait long enough. I am proud of Clarisse, Joseph was a more interesting choice.

I kind of love this chapter. Actually, there is no kind of about it. I do love it! I was hoping the passage would lead to her bedroom and I was worried about what was going to happen when they got there. As I have said before, I don't really like stories where she's with Joseph (though she didn't get with him all the way) and Rupert is still alive, but you write it so well and really make me forget about Rupert altogether. Besides, this was such a beautiful, sweet chapter, I don't really care that Rupert is alive! I just love love love their conversation. So sweet and so believable for both of them. I liked the line that life with her was never boring. So like Mia, which is why she's so frustrated by her constantly! I'd actually forgotten Clarisse had planned to sneak out, but went looking for him instead. I loved that line and loved that Joseph was mumbling under his breath about it. I also liked the "his and hers" bruises. That made me laugh out loud. It probably wasn't supposed to be that funny, but as with my sense of humor... I'm hoping in future chapters Rupert will be dead and they can be together (does that make me a bad person?). I'm glad this one was up (definitely worth the wait!) and can't wait for the next one!

I love it. Clarisse's quite relaxed in this story, and I like that as a concept in itself. You write them so beautifully.
