Having read everything today, I must say that this a great read. Also, I applaud you because making a story with OCs from the readers isn't an easy feat. In terms of feedback, I like how you fleshed out Kuro in this chapter because before he seemed like a robotic, analytical Shikamaru copy without the laziness, but now-now he seems more human. I guess it's because he, surprisingly, had a real conversation with Moziki. This prompted Moziki to speak from the heart which led to more dominos falling and Kuro having some great introspection that we, the readers, we're privileged to find out. It's obvious now that Kuro has longed not particularly for a family, but someone who he could get close to (thus why Moziki is enough "family's for Kuro). I like the bond you showed and developed, but the timing of this along with the history background we received last chapter hints towards an unfortunate event.

In terms of expectations, I'm very interested in Rei given that Jerra not only acknowledges her but listens to her. I can't wait to see her in action. Zarbuto is probably my least favorite character since he seems like a burden to Kohari and Saori (who, if they excel at teamwork, are a formidable duo because of how well their chakra natures work together).

Great Chapter! Ok, so I am really liking Kana, and it's reall sad that she's an orphan! I feel like that explains her tough guy behavoir and candy addiction - she never really had a parent to tell her what to eat. But her addictions is funny as hell. And I feel like she secretly like Yutaka. Thye're perfect together in the way that they're so disfunctional. Like the entire team ;) I'm actually really interested into seeing more about all of the characters in their academy days and how they've changed since. Or maybe we could see like a Omake of their class? ;)

Saori is very interesting in the way that she's so ordinary, and I actually really like that. Looking at her art and compared to the others, I think this fact really stands out. Everything about her is just muted and unmemorable. :) I feel like she can really shine when the time comes, though.I really hope she and Vitani go at eachother. I feel like both could be really scary when they get serious.

I feel like Saori keeps her feelings to herself a lot - she seems so polite ont the outside, but is really hiding her true feelings of jealousy. She's surprisingly secretive. :) I really want to know what her past was like, why she feels the way she does and why she doesnt tell anyone.

Also, I'm glad Kaiba exists - I love the Inuzuka clan and was hoping there would be one here!

Natsuki is so relatable, lol, unsure of what to do in social situations! That's me in a nutshell. She's the perfect fit for her team!

Rei's past is so sad - I wonder how her father treated them after her mother left? I feel like he wasn't a stellar father. And her sibling would be cool to see currently! And this older woman - was she just a passerby or was she someone important?
And I like that Rei liked Konoha.

Poor Roku, getting refused! But I'm glad they took the warning seriously and are getting something done!

I like screamed when Kana said her quote! You nailed her friendliness and rough exterior. I love her relationship with Saori, too! The grass team is so interesting and I hope there's a little rivalry with Saori and Vitani, lol.

Natsuki is so funny and cool - she fits so well with her team.

It's really sad that the Hokage didn't let Roku go on the mission, but I feel like it was for the best. I'm getting a bad feeling that he won't see his friend again. :(

Kana is a quite the little fireball, isn't she? I like that she's so enthusiastic and that it wouldn't have bothered her so much if she failed than if her two teammates would have. Those threats were very... /flagrant/. You have a nice way of portraying duality as well. When you place characters like Kana and Saori side by side it's so easy to see the contrast between the two of them, as well as what seems like a possible old rivalry? Could this possibly be influenced on the Ino Vs. Sakura rivalry, minus some character being the "Sasuke" between them? The morsel you fed showed that it definitely has something to do more with status for Saori. But as it looks Kana would just be in it for fun. I wonder if this status thing, as well as that incentive from her introductory chapter, will cause something in Saori to break during the exams. She seems like that kind of character, although quiet, to be one of the last people you want to have snap.I also wonder if it'll happen in an encounter with Vitani.
On another note I can relate with Natsuki and Saori when it comes to comforting someone. I don't know how to do it and by the time I try it's too late. Glad to see that not everyone is a hero like that in this story.
The dip into Rei's past is more interesting. The reasoning for why she wants to find her mother clearer as well. Out of all the characters, she seems to only be one of few that have a deeper purpose to even be taking these exams aside from leveling up in rank. I find the chink of hope shining through to be a wonderfully disastrous thing for Rei, since obviously she's gonna end up being put through hell before she'll be seeing her name on the certificate stating a possibly newly acclaimed rank.
The warning of caution seems to have done the trick and now Konoha makes its move to uncover any possible plots against it. To see if Moziki will survive or not, that is the question.

I could not be happier with the way you have portrayed Saori. This chapter has a sense of both normalcy and foreboding that delves deeper into pasts and fleshes out character relationships, and it does it so well. It also depicted the tensions, both comical and serious, between the genin of different villages. I love how Vitani called Saori Princess! Great stuff!

Natsuki and Kana are such memorable and contrasting characters, and I think they work really well next to each other for contrast. And I really like Kaiba XD.

Can't wait to learn more about Rei and her mother, too. Quite a sad story, it seems. And I'm getting a bad vibes about the mission.

I love Kyoya! Gah! He was so likable and determined! I like how each of the characters you picked to portray this exam were so different.

Koharu is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love the way you write her! And Natsuki is great. She's so bad ass an she doesn't even try!

The grass team is definitely something I'd like to see more interactions with the Leaf teams. They feel like a major presence and I want to know more!

I really enjoy this air of mystery you keep present about some of the things Roku does, it's intriguing and clever. I can't wait to see these things unfold ;)~ I also love the way you deviate from the norm of the chunin exams! I love that you're taking your time, especially since this is a new era- one where fighting other nations hasn't been prioritized above everything else. (Unless you're from the Mizukage's perspective that is.)

AND KYOYA AH BB NU LET ME LOVE YOU! *I cry* You are a precious cinnamon roll, too good, too pure for this world. He's quickly becoming one of my favs. *Here is where I wish nothing horrible to happen upon him, you take notice and then proceed to make something horrible happen to him* XD And Koharu too! Jerra's perspective is rather interesting too. I would like to get a better feel for him, honestly. Seeing his interaction with other characters oughta be interesting to see.

And of course, gotta love Natsuki-the-not-Nara. I wonder if she'll get more interactions with that Grass-nin? *rubs hands eagerly together* Is it weird that I'm already feeling shipping vibes? Heck, I don't even know this Grass-nin's (or the others, actually) name! Ahhh! This is getting intense!

I live how you introduced Kyoya's home life! And I love how he feels about his team! It was so funny how Natsuki fell asleep lol. And the grass team hade really caught my interest.
