You know I have always been a babe canon wise and turned me into a Tart sometimes. I ride the fence with it lol. However I can totally see this scenario because Ranger is so confident and that confidence could be seen as arrogance. I love that she got to be successful on her own with no one else help and away from the Burg so she could just live. I do wish I got the story of steph life in LA and the story of her love with Gregory. Oh I looked him up he is a HOTTIE!

So, I opened this story with a bit of trepidation since I am a diehard Babe fan. However, I have to say that I really liked this story. Steph deserves to be happy and I hate that she is treated so poorly in other stories. So, this one, despite the ending, I am glad I read it. Ranger is an arrogant dumb ass so too bad so sad. If you cant appreciate what you have in front of you, then you don't deserve to have her in your life.

Loved it! I'm a die hard Babe but there's nothing I like more than a bit of angst, and I don't need a Babe HEA to enjoy a good story. Well done!

Too sad. I wasn't going to read but gave it a shot. You wrote it well but I hate the end. Only because it wasn't what I wanted.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Not a good thing for "Mr. Manoso". Day late but never a dollar short, Ranger knows that hesitation kills, even if its your heart.

Sucks for Ranger, but a woman needs the words, not just actions, and if yo are in love with someone you definitely need to tell them - he should have put a ring on her!

Thanks for the story. It took me a few days to let myself read it because I am all for Babe and new it would make me sad and it did. For a man as smart as Ranger he can be such an idiot. To let her leave and then stay away for 9 months was just plain stupid but his comments to her when she left was stupid enough. He has always believed in her why wouldn't he about this? For him to leave her alone for so long without any contact is unbelievable and so not like him. Thanks for writing but please go back to Babe. Marsha

Guys! Why are they so dumb?

Ranger doesn't have a no relationship policy, that's all in Steph's head. She needs to justify being afraid to go after Ranger, so she blames him. Still I'm more interested in Babe stories than Cupcake (gag) stories.

Great story, I am a babe but I get so frustrated with Ranger and his no relationship policy.
It was good to see Steph move on and be happy.
