Frankly, I am not a fan of Chris, so I am hoping he dies again. I get it that he's a stupid kid, but in this world you either grow up fast or die. I am curious about the additional changes you plan to make considering you are sticking to the episodes to a degree. I enjoy stories that eventually steer out into their own path so I am looking forward to that here.

Lumen is an interesting character. I have enjoyed seeing more of her back story and her and Nic growing closer. I look forward to seeing what changes with her addition to this group.

It's so nice to see this great story updated. I definitely didn't expect Lumen leaving Nick behind to follow Chris and Travis. I can see why this will be a major turning point from canon; her presence may prevent Chris' death, and that could change the plot in a lot of ways. But on Madison's side, I'm guessing things will ensue as in canon; without Lumen around, there'll be no one to prevent Nick from being manipulated by Celia, and Daniel from burning down the cellar. That means Nick will eventually meet Luciana, and that's something I've wondered ever since the beginning of the story: is there going to be a love triangle between Nick, Lumen and Luciana (heck, make it a love square, if Chris is alive)?

I see you added a cover picture to the story. Is that Lumen? Who's the person supposed to be Lumen's faceclaim? Hope you update it soon!

I just love this so darn much, Lumen is amazing!

This story is just incredible. I love everything about your writing: the humour, the vulnerability of the characters, the way you describe expressions. It’s so easy to picture Lumen amongst the characters, I wish she was on the show!

I’m looking forward to what you have planned especially now that Lumen has made her decision. Cannot wait for more, thank you for updating!

I started from the beginning since it's been so long since I read any of this. I do hope this strays a bit from the series. Frankly, I didn't care for Troy and his ranch nor do I think Travis needs taken out that early. I liked Lucia, but with Lumen with Nick, it is unlikely he will strike out on his own away from everyone to wander with the dead.

Frankly, Chris seems to be set on the same path as the series, descending into too much violence and willingness to kill people, without feeling any real connections to anyone, even his father. It's funny because both Nick and Alicia call him their brother and speak to him easily and often, and yet, he's the one holding back and still feeling like he doesn't fit. Blended families can be difficult and he's at a rough age.

Looking forward to where you go with things and how Luman changes things for them.

Ooh, Nick and Lumen finally did it! I guess it paid off to Nick not making the 'dessert' joke in the last chapter. And speaking of these crazy times, don't things currently look like the first season of FTWD? Everyone locked up in their homes, stores closed, hospitals as if in war campaign, the military on the streets (in some cities)... I just hope it doesn't go the next level like in the show *fingers crossed*.

On a side note, I know you described Lumen as a tall, blond woman, with slight freckles, but did you have any faceclaim in mind? An actress or celebrity whose face she was inspired on? Hope you update it soon!

I'm really enjoying your story. Lumen and Nick are getting so well together that I almost fear what will happen in Season 4 (FTWD fans know what I mean). Thankfully it's still far away, but I wonder what you have in mind for that season. On a side note, if Madison and Travis were savvier, they would notice how Nick and Chris seem to listen to Lumen, take advantage of that and try to get their point across to their respective sons through her. Hope you update it soon!

I admire how brave she is and how vulnerable she’s able to become when in Nick’s company. I just love how you write!
