Again! Your character interactions are fantastic. I love the mother figure of Dolores and the fact that Beth is pleased that Percy is dead, yet will still have flashbacks.

Brutal fluff though 3 eeeeep! Another amazing chapter

Just have to say again that your writing is absolutely fantastic - this is the best story I’ve read so far in this section by a long shot. The way Beth and Brutal interact is basically just as fluid as the interactions in the film and book - it’s hard to imagine Beth not actually being in the original story, really.

Something else I’d like to touch on - your portrayal of abuse victims is sympathetic and also authentic - it’s not easy to read but it’s very interesting to read and I’m just so damn glad that Percy met that horrible end in this story and in the film/book. He’s still such an arsehole!

I was going to review every chapter as I read them but I got sucked in and read all these chapters without reviewing instead. But that’s a good thing! I’m so glad to see a fic that highlights what an awful awful person Percy Wetmore really is - in the book he’s a lot worse than the film, so Thankyou for making him into a god awful character. In all honesty I don’t even think for one second had he not ended up being catatonic that he could have ever been a better person.

Your OC is brilliant, and I’m glad to see the eventual hints at romance - it’s not shoved in your face from the get go, just established and then played upon in little bits. Your writing is truly fantastic.

Anyway, I hope to see you’ll be continuing after reading the remaining chapters and I’ll try to review them one by one

"Wild Bill" deserved what happened to him, but I was happy when he made Percy piss himself. That knocked that Napoleon complex having ass hole down another foot.

Even in the book & movie, I never liked Percy. I always wanted to reach into the book or movie & strangle him.
