Clove definitely had the saddest death in my mind. I know some of you will be like "No! Prim!" Or "No! Rue!"

But like take this. It's only because they're like so young, and just protagonists.

Clove's an antagonist, and her death is just so sad. It shows another side of the Careers.

I can imagine Clove freaking out, about "missing"

i loved this story so much i shed a tear at the end. it's so tragic and beautiful and it fits the careers so well. you're a great author and have a way with words! keep writing (:

oh man so I read this chapter on my phone and then didn't feel like logging in so I had to wait to be back on the computer to review it but by then I'd forgotten what I wanted to say and now I remember it. I love the first sentence so much. Also aww Cato is a baby.

Oh man I'm dying. "The one year they make an exception for you two to come home, you let an outlier kill her and you didn't even get him back until a few days later!" I'm dead.
Also I'm just dead from this chapter in general. Wow.

They're trying to protect him from Titus' fate. Aww. And his mom's just, like, in denial.

"He can feel the Capitol shiver" is really good.

That is the worst to hear yourself sound the way Cato does here. I just had a near brush with death, myself (drama queen but really). A horse I was riding took off at a run down a dark street and I lost the stirrups and just had to like hold onto her and hope she would stop and I was talking to her trying to get her to stop and that was the worst part of the whole thing was that helplessness. Ugh poor Cato.

This whole thing is one long sentence. I love it. I love the stream of consciousness as she dies. Also I love that she dies like pissed off. That's so perfect and like I'm not even sobbing like I usually do when I read their deaths because Clove's just mad. Also I just realized how many HG stories you have omg I have some major catching up to do.

Again so Clove. Like she's as good as she is in the books because she'll accept nothing less than perfection from herself. I love it.
