I read this story about a month back and fell in love with it, I immediately followed and favorited hoping you would one day update again even tho it's been so long. I still hope that this will be finished because it is so well written and there is such a cliffhanger rn omg. If it can't be finished please at least let us know that you're leaving the story. I love how dark and serious this story is honestly. It gives me goosebumps, but in a good way. I guess that also makes me a little physchotic, but not Zeref's level anyway. Did you create the lines at the top in every chapter in italics, I have forgotten if you mentioned where it came from before, but I honestly think it sets the theme of every chapter very well and prepares us readers for what's to come. I really liked Zeref's insight on the color red, it was interesting to see some intellectual Zeref and see more of how he thinks, besides seeing his psycho mind that wants to die (ay, that rhymes! (Ignore my insanity)). 'For Natsu', that was the perfect message you could have carved on Lucy by Zeref, I was trying to guess myself, but I think that was the best one for Zeref's to choose because that would make the most impact, that even if they escaped, Natsu would forever realize and know that everything was for HIM and I think it was really good the way you showed us how emotionally impactful it was to Natsu and really how everything is emotionally scarring him. I think it would be good to maybe have one chapter one Lucy's and Zeref's POV once in awhile, or a snippet of it in one chapter. But, I think it's still really good how you write the evident emotions it seems Zeref and Lucy have so even without a POV from them, it's easier to imagine how they're feeling, but it's still hard since, well Zeref is insane and Lucy is getting tortured. I like to think Zeref as kind of a Joker character, since he's insane and murderous but also very intelligent and has thought-out plans. I also guess if that was true, than Natsu would be Batman, which makes sense. I'm really looking forward to reading what happens next!
