Baron was able to shift! With minimal problems! I am so proud! I love the way that you describe the shift, it all sounds so natural. Poor thing with his rubbery legs, glad he got the hang of it!

I like that they got to run together. I'm glad Baron's at least considerate enough to indulge Maddy, hopefully he understood how important that was to her? Good bonding yes good. Your descriptive terminology is always so wonderful to read as well. I love the way the cabin sounds, with fireflies and flowers all around it.

The love scene was beautiful! Tender, urgent but careful, all the good stuff. The reader really gets the sensation that these two are deeply connected, even though it's their first time together (I love it when folks are gentle with one another, it's one of my favorite things. Because I'm a sap, you see). I hope that Baron will continue to be so understanding. It gives me hope that Maddy will finally have a chance to be REALLY happy, even after everything that's happened to her.

(I was so glad for this chapter, and I'm so glad I finally have the chance to review it. I remember being so excited when I read it the first time, because I love it when good things happen in a story, y'know? Again, I'm a sap. Thank you, THANK YOU! :D )

I was so happy to see your new chapter yesterday. Lets just say it was a great birthday gift! I'm loving how these two are taking the time to get to know each other. It's adorable.

The pet names through the chapter were killing me, oh my god! And I want Maddy's house, for sure. It sounds like heaven. I love the woods so much (as I'm sure you've gathered).

Her reaction to him having her coat was absolute gold. Also Baron do not judge the lady for still doing the shift, it's probably loads of fun so DON'T get sassy with her!

It must be really great for Maddy to have someone that she interacts with professionally be excited when something good happens to her. I love the little ways Baron displays affection, like the head kisses and such. It's so nice.

Hell yeah to Baron's parents being decent people! It sounds like most Alphas are kind of jerks in this world, so it's a huge relief to know that they've taught him how to be kind and understanding as far as Omegas go. Bravo!

Oh no no, poor Maddy. Oh gosh. I'm so glad that she got to talk about her upbringing though. It's probably a very good thing. The way Baron managed to keep his cool, just listen (I mean growling will happen, so be it) and comfort her was so wonderful, wow. And now (hopefully) in the future this will help him be more understanding if/when she digs her heels in on certain things. I love the way you write your characters so much, really I do!

The fact that he's willing to shift, even after having not done it for so long (and apparently being perfectly fine with that) is such a testament to the respect and care he has for her already. I'm so happy that he's being understanding with her, and that they're getting along like a real couple. It's wonderful to read a story where the romantic interest(s) display genuine kindness and affection to one another.

I'm thrilled, as always, to see that you've continued this! And I can't wait to find out how this tale unfolds. :D

It is so cute to see the different little nicknames she can come up with! And Baron is getting a kick out of it as well. Heck, I'm enjoying it as well. As well as his reaction and/or thoughts on them.
It is awesome that his parents taught him to respect Omega's. And to treat them as equals. It made her like him more. I think Baron would just 'love' to meet her family one day... But I think it's safe to say that she doesn't even worry about them anymore or care. So there is less chance of them running into them. He is being so sweet to try to cheer her up by talking about shifting to cheer her up. Because it's something that she loves to do. Little surprised that he doesn't anymore.
Oh, btw, love her editor. She is obviously very happy for Maddy and didn't really care if Baron could hear her. Plus side, I think Baron will provide excellent inspiration for Maddy. Like he already has.
