dispix94 chapter 40 . 7/28 I loved this chapter, especially the second half. I really liked the conversation between Judy and Catano at the end. I think Catano serves as an excellent mentor for Judy, and moments such as the one in the last chapter will (hopefully) prepare her for her future role as Nick’s partner/mentor. |
Berserker88 chapter 40 . 7/25 I was actually expecting a confrontation in the vents there. Not sure if I'm relieved or disappointed, especially with Vanya's master of disguise routine making it an uphill battle finding her again. Regardless, I have to give her props for cunning. I really like that lecture from Catano as well, and Judy's realization of her own limits. It's a lesson she sorely needed to learn. |
Berserker88 chapter 39 . 7/25 The savage SPOKE? 0_o Now that is an interesting tidbit there. I'm almost surprised they didn't focus on it more, but I suppose it can wait until after they've figured out the attack itself. With this chapter cutting off as it does though, I have a feeling the investigation is far from over. |
Guest chapter 40 . 7/23 Judy's newest challenge. |
Dr.D180 chapter 39 . 5/9 Finally got around to reading this chapter, and now I'm kicking myself for waiting. The elephant being somewhat lucid is a huge gamechanger and my mind is racing with the possibilities. The aftermath was handled really well too. Looking forward to the next chapter. Also, hope your new job treats you well, I've moved jobs a few times and found out I preferred the old one. |
J Shute chapter 39 . 3/19 Hmmmm, so a savage that speaks. Very interesting. |
ff chapter 39 . 3/17 huy una gran pista pero caray que apuros tienen ahora |
dispix94 chapter 39 . 3/16 Great chapter, as always. The part with Rudy was adorable. As you can imagine, I got that Winnie the Pooh reference right away (I’m actually surprised that Rudy’s name wasn’t Roo). I wonder if Judy’s technique with the elephant worked in subduing/bringing him back to normal, or if it just served as a distraction while the other officers were getting ready to catch him. Looks like things will be wrapping up within the next few chapters, and I can’t wait to see what you have in store. |
dispix94 chapter 38 . 3/16 This chapter was a lot shorter than you usually write, but it still had a nice flow to it. It kind of seemed like a transition chapter to me, mostly because of how short it was. But, I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next chapter. I hope Nick’s not out of the picture for good. |
Fox Keyblader Illusions Angel chapter 39 . 3/15 This is a great chapter and can't wait to read more. Judy would do something like that. I believe she could have handled it. To bad others can ruin things. I love the relationship between Catano and Judy. Can't wait to see who fired the dart. It was so lucky no one got seriously hurt. I did catch the Winnie the Pooh and I will always love Winnie the Pooh. |
Guest chapter 39 . 3/15 Excellent again. Thank you. |
Guest chapter 39 . 3/14 Judy's adventure time! |
seakard chapter 39 . 3/14 Ok, crazed elephant under wraps, solid clue from Roo about Where shot came from, gonna get more leads on the shooter! And Wilde on a date with someone OTHER than Hopps? Perfect! |
The Mr E chapter 39 . 3/14 Interesting. Didn't think of how elephants would wear their wedding jewelry. The Superman/Batman dynamic between Hopps and Catano continues to emerge. Sure, Judy's not exactly the powerhouse between the two, but her tendency to strive for a brighter path amid the darkness is notable. At the end of it all, I can see Catano's thoughts more or less echoing Batman's statement: "He's my friend, and he makes me believe in things I can't on my own." There's also the fact that Catano's accustomed to operating at night. She's probably seen more metaphorical darkness than Judy ever will, even if the job gets intense at times for Hopps. This might be one of the few stories to (possibly) make use of scent recording tech. The Zootopians have probably mastered it to the point where carcinogen is no longer an issue. Cute Winnie the Pooh reference. Rudy makes more sense than Roo in this context. |
dispix94 chapter 37 . 3/14 Well, I finally got around to reading this chapter! I noticed you had just posted a new chapter a few minutes ago, and I figured it was time for me to catch up with this story, since things are now winding down for me. Anyways, this was another intense and exciting chapter full of surprise twists. I can’t wait to see what happens in Bunnyburrow, as well with Nick’s “date” (which I really hope doesn’t destroy his relationship with Taelia). As for the last scene being too much, yes, I kind of think it was, but that’s mostly because I work in a movie theater, so I’m a bit paranoid about something happening in my theater such as an active shooter (the Dark Night incident in Colorado immediately came to my mind when I read the last scene). Don’t get me wrong, I liked the scene, but I would’ve liked it better if you had set it in a different location other than a movie theater. That’s my only concern I have about the chapter, I thought the rest of it was really well done, as always. Keep up the good work, and I will read and review the next chapter soon. |
