I am going to try to contain my feels so this review makes some sense but I have a feeling I'm going to fail because I'm overwhelmed by this beautiful story.

OKAY, so this is adorable. EVERYTHING about it is adorable.

I love that when Kate came home Castle was asleep with Lily on his chest. It's so HIM and he's so protective of their baby and I love it. And then when she approached them and tried to take the baby and his grip tightened, oh, the grip this story has on my heart tightened as well. And then they kissed and my heart exploded with feels because they're my perfect otp and your story at this point was already beautiful!

So Kate puts Lily to bed and snuggles up with her hubby to take a nap, which was adorable because... my otp is snuggling (AND THEY HAVE A BABY. I feel so blessed...).

And then Lily cries because she's an angel and they gotta stop the snuggling because their PERFECT CHILD needs them... well, her. She needs her mom. Because she's hungry and if Kate doesn't show up she'll get hangry (I was hangry before I read this fic, now I'm all feelsy. But still, once this review is posted I will need to go get a snack before I die of starvation - dramatic, I know).

So Kate feeds her and it's precious because it's a perfect mother-daughter moment and I just feel so blessed because back in season 1 if you told Beckett she'd marry Richard Castle and have his babies she'd laugh in your face... or shoot you. Something like that. EITHER WAY, she'd think you were nuts. And so the fact that they are married and have this precious child and they're happy and content is just such a blessing and the way you wrote it was just so real and authentic and I LOVED THAT!
And then when Castle came in and they put Lily to bed my heart swelled EVEN MORE.
(also, the fact that he still got up to make her food. oh, it's so beautiful. AND IT'S SO FLUFFY I love it.)

And then she's eating this Chinese food which has me craving my favourite Chinese food (actually might go get some tomorrow because it's been a while), and all is well in this world. Well, briefly. Until she gets lost in her thoughts and just the way you described the interaction between Castle and Beckett on how they go to where they are is just... flawless. I'd have it no other way.

And so they finally make it to the bedroom and she's all insecure about her scars and stuff and she says it's stupid and HE PROVIDES THE PERFECT COMFORT. Oh my God, this entire fic was beautiful, but the last part here where he was telling their story through her scars and how much he loves them and loves her... Oh, that's my favourite part of the story! Because he's telling this incredible story that all us fans of the show love, while providing comfort to his wife and making her feel better, and the way you described it, the words you used... oh my gosh, it was like art. I literally felt the love they had for one another seeping out of my computer screen as I read this and I am SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL TO YOU, for writing this beautiful fic because it's amazing and it's hopping on over to the Favourites list and I'll be re-reading it again and again for sure!

Keep writing. You're great at it, you tell beautiful stories, and you are really able to capture the emotion when it comes to the characters and their interactions with one another. AMAZING! Absolutely amazing!
