First two chapters were great. This chapter...not so much. I just found the whole 'monsters were sealed in the 1800s' to be utterly ridiculous. It...just really doesn't make all that much sense? I can go into a bunch of proof of why that's the case, but that's mostly irrelevant. And like I said, the first two chapters were spectacular.

I've got an idea. Flowey wants to live on the surface with Chara, correct? What if Frisk lets Chara take control, Asgore thinks it's a trick and they fight. BUT! Flowey remembers how Chara would play fight and then once he sees Chara's eyes (Frisk's eyes turn red when Chara takes control in the Souless Pacifist ending where you choose to stay with Toreil), he absorbs the souls and if Chara gives up Frisk's soul, he'll release the soul and the other six after breaking the barrier.

Yes Flowey can do that, when Asreil breaks the barrier in the True Pacifist he released the souls and every monster's soul returned to it's body.

Also instead of Flowey-pot if you do an epilogue, have Flowey be planted in the back garden.

So... I found the conversations, the amount of detail, and overall story to be interesting. The other stuff like grammar, punctuation, word choice and spelling? All well and good. And yes, I think there really is a lot more that could be done with this.

Actually... I found it hard to imagine Asgore threatening Frisk like this. Last time I checked he was"a big fluffy pushover" who is unwilling to kill Frisk (doesn't actually look at Frisk in their battle and even lets Frisk leave the castle again to go about their unfinished business). Behaviour still understandable though.

Really wondering how Alphys knowing this would affect the timeline.

I'd like to see Frisk give up the soul but as soon as Asgore destroys the barrier, the souls revolt and leave asgore weak.
