Aaaawww that was so cute ! I love the parallel between Emma and Killian, with strays/orphans being suspicious and vindictive and becoming better and happy when they find a family, it was nice and heartwarming. I particularly adore this line : "As cool and indifferent as they can seem – even a tad violent when threatened – at the end of the day they can be quite affectionate creatures. I suppose that's why I like you so much »"
