Pretty fun read so far, but yeah... dick move by TT. But eh, she doesn't have a reason to be nice to Taylor in this iteration. Will be looking forward to seeing what all Taylor can do once she gets more practice with her power.

It is however quite obvious that this is your first story. Mostly because events are developing very fast, too fast to properly establish the characters. You are lucky and/or smart by using the Wormverse which does not need that. It allows you to quickly get to the part that everybody is here for: Stormlight powered Taylor.
Should you ever decide to rewrite this story, that could be one of the things I would suggest you do differently, because now Taylor has very quickly gained the level of proficiency with Stormlight that took Kaladin a very long time to obtain. I would suggest pacing that a bit more, maybe give us some flashbacks.
I am also a bit disappointed that you used Syl instead of thinking up a new name for a "wind"-spren (perhaps her sister?). If you want I could try to think up a batch of new names that sound similar enough.
Kudo's for including Hoid. You managed to portay him Witty enough, but again I think he could have been a bit more subtle to truly match with his Archive persona.

Last a couple of questions: Do you plan to include other Surgebinders and if so, when will we meet them? Any hints as to who they might be? Will it be possible to gain the powers of both Surges and Shards?
