omygosh! omygoodness! This is so damn beautifully heartbreaking. With the dose of angst, it's just more wonderful to read by. It's just too bad though that it's only a one shot. Nevertheless, great fic. Hoping for more stories from you.

This is such a beautifully written moment. I love AU shorts like this because with the theory of unlimited alternate universes, Nalu would not be a couple in a large majority of them. However, the belief that their hearts would recognize and speak to one another, however briefly, in every universe, in the shortest of moments is a romantic and beautiful one. I also really enjoy the way you make Natsu remarkably talented at something in all of your stories I've read so far. In canon, he is amazing at fighting and magic, through intense training and single mindedness. In AUs without magic, I think it is insightful to assume that he would set himself to an equal challenge and dedicate his life to it. Definitely looking forward to more of your work...

This is beautiful. I love it. I love the details you placed here. Look at Natsu and Lucy go. Really amazing. This very good even for a oneshot. Everything is there in this chapter. No need to say what happened to Natsu. Details of how he played his music, his feelings and thoughts says everything about Natsu. Lucy dancing, and every steps brings everything into place. Despite Natsu's doubt of not seeing her, I feel they are going to meet again. Like a silent promise that their music would dance together again.
