I wasn’t sure if it would have been an older boy, or a stranger, even one of the parents coming to adopt someone on a trial basis who kept trying to find the right one, only to return them. I’m surprised Tom didn’t freak out more over the examination, especially with a camera.

Very emotionally draining writing stories with subjects like this. You are handling the writing of it well, hopefully not having too many emotions surging in yourself writing it.

I can see Tom not being bullied so much in Wizarding schools, both elementary and Hogwarts if his name is changed to Peverell. Especially if he has met and made friends with some of the other children...eventually, after he has learned to trust.

I know it’s been years.
