I just cried my eyeballs out! Omigawd, this story is so amazing! It captured my attention from the very beginning and it's so beautifully written that I can't help but just get completely absorbed by it. This story is just such a wonderful piece of fiction. I'm in love with this pairing now! I think I shall write something about them too very soon.

This story is 8 years old, and that's 8 years of my life wasted not having read this. Wow. I won't say this was good enough to drive me to tears, but my heart ached. The tiny number of reviews you got for this is CRIMINAL. I will never again see Yamcha as just 'that guy who loses every fight' or Marron as 'that useless kid of Krillin's.'

Wow, I wasn't sure what to make of this when I read the summary, but it sure wasn't this. I know many, many people have already told you it was great, so it seems unnecessary to point that obvious fact out.

However, if only to stroke your ego, I'll say it anyway. This story was fantastic!

Ohmigosh...Kinomi recommended this story to me quite a while ago, and today I finally got a chance to read it. I must say this story was very sad, sweet and romantic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You did a good job of recalling their relationship and the ending was so touching.

If I were the girly romantical type, I swear I'd be sobbing right now.

You did an excellent job working with a couple so many people detest. *rolls eyes* I don't see the issue. When a story is as well written as this, how can they not like it?

*blinks* That was incredible. The first few bits of alternating timelines confused the *heck* outta me, but pretty soon I was very much wrapped up in both sequences of events, and fortunately, no longer confused.

The scene where Yamcha's late to give her her birthday present and she kissed him, just rang so true. The dialogue throughout the whole thing was wonderful, but especially there. And the ending was sad. I haven't seen the DBZ characters die permanently very often in fanfic, and when they do, it never made me want to cry. That was well-handled. Ya didn't drown me in angst and Marron's reaction felt realistic.

Definitely the best Y/M I've seen. Incredible fic.

Oh-and you're right. Yamcha's a very sexy man. _ Though I prefer him with the ponytail, myself.

Lol, I must say... I was a bit apprehensive about this one-shotter and yes, it's because of the incredibly HUGE age gap between Yamcha and Maron, but the fic was recommended to me by an author friend and so I decided to give it a shot. And I admit, I'm totally floored! It was very VERY refreshing to read a fic that was pure despite the unsually large age gap between the two characters. I've read fics with less questionable pairings (Trunks/Pan and Goten/Bra) that are not even a quarter as well-written as what you have accomplished here.

I'm VERY impressed!

I'll be honest that throughout the fic, I was in a roller coaster ride, cringing one moment, then relaxing, then cringing again, then relaxing. Lol! And despite the couple of times that I cringed (like when it was first mentioned that the two were married), I read through the entire story and loved it. *Grins*

I must especially compliment you on the ending. A person can get so caught up in the characters you see on television that you never quite take the moment to imagine what a natural death for the all-famous Z-senshi would be like, and this example, with both Yamcha's passing away and the description of Krillin's old, crippling age, were prime examples of that. I was literally touched and very much felt Maron's concern and agony. The conclusion of your one-shotter was definately the icing of the cake.

Very well done! With your ability to write, I wouldn't be at ALL surprised if you can even manage a Roshi/Bra pairing! Lol!

I can't believe this story almost made me cry.

It was gorgeous, just gorgeous. I'm not fond of this couple, because of the way people tend to write it. But you didn't hide the age difference, instead, you used it in this beautiful story.

It couldn't have end any other way. I think you did a great job on writing this couple. Honest, sweet and sad.

All I can say is wow. That was amazingly written and so sad. I'm brimming on tears. Good job indeed.
