This is fantastic. The scene in the end with Sam had me crying, you waited until just the right time. and Dean's proud gushing over his baby brother to Mary was so perfect! Great work!

Like the it about the secret code part at the end; that is so like the boys, talking so no one can understand what they are saying.

After your reply to my comment on We Are Infinite I had to check out your other stories. Before I got to the end of this I have tears running down my face! Mary overhearing the boys at the breakfast table was great! Oh finding Sam on the floor like that almost bled out, thank goodness Cas was able to get there and heal Sam!

I'm interested how they are going to handle this whole Mary situation.

I really liked this especially with the little flashbacks it really tied in how Dean was always protective of Sammy since the beginning! And I loved how you got both Dean and Sam's characterization right!

Me too, I'm not very fond of having Mary back, and hopefully not as a regular, guest would do. But like you I hope the character Mary can put back the focus onto the brothers, which in the last couple episodes thanks to Chuck, Lucifer, Crowley, Rowena and Amara was not given...

I just found this story because the new spoilers came out and I love that I have a lovely au where Sam doesn't get abducted and tortured : D jokes aside this was such a lovely read, I loved Mary's voice and the way the flash backs where seamlessly woven into the narrative. You have such a wonderful writing style, thanks for writing!

You seriously have a gift. You take certain eps and just make them awesome by adding in your own unique twists. I am serious when I say I look forward to them. This was such a simple idea, the infamous rice and tomato soup, and you took it to new lengths. As always, nicely done.
