Beautiful and twisted scene, even if it's not very believable that Light would out himself like this by killing L himself.
Still, the scene was beautiful.

What do you mean that Light should have killed L? As in, personally kill him, not arrange for Rem to do it? Why though?

I do think you have achieved a pretty scene by romanticising death/ murder.

I really like how Light does not regret killing L; he just simply regrets losing L.

I love the imagery in this, oh, and your writing style is quite pretty too.
