Any chance for Blake's parents to appear in a future chapter? If they're anything like canon, I'd love to see Kali and Ghira show Blake absolute support and affection once they learn about her and Yang.
On that topic, one of the first chapters mentioned that Yang has never been inside Blake's house. Seems a bit weird considering they've been best friends for at least a decade.

Wow this is an amazing story, I do think you need to change the description, it doesn't really say anything. The writing is generally good, and got better in the later chapters:)

I love you. I frigging f*cking love you. Not for this chapter (this one was super great by the way) but for writting the hard version of a LGBT relationship. I have been reading this kind of stories in fanfiction lately and not even one of them had the "the society looks this as bad" angle. So thank you for daring to make this story. And better of all, thank you for making me enjoy the story, because I think that it's the important part. You wrote the right amount of fear, panic, overreactions, love, understanding and a hole bunch of feelings for me to really enjoy this story and binge read it through one day without stopping. I can't thank you for "telling my story" because I'm straight, but I want to say that: You have all my support, person that find itself identified with this. To wrap this up, thank you for making this story and I hope to see the next chapter soon.

That flashback with the doctor reminded me of a marriage counselor my fiance's church had us go to as a prerequisite to getting married.
Long story short, he derided my religion, insulted my addiction, insulted everyone who had ever recovered from an addiction through any method other than Christianity along with every currently-addicted Christian by claiming that Jesus Christ is not just the only path to recovery from addiction but also a 100% effective one, and insulted my counselor. I will remind you that this was MARRIAGE counseling, not religious or psychological counseling. While he never said these exact words, his statements line up with it so well that I often find myself attributing this quote to him: "helping you with your religion IS helping you with your issues."
