Wow! Hello again! Wonderful to see this story updated. You know, it doesn't even seem like you've lost interest. What I don't actually see in that perspective. I can read in each line a very solid plot and script bringing the best ending to the plot as a whole. When the hidden truths spread, I believe that four nations will go crazy. Thank you for making me love Katara even more with this chapter! I’m also grateful to you for still being willing to finish this story even though you lost interest in it (it happens). Zuko subconsciously calling out to Katara in his dreams post-war is canon to me. Lol. And Katara dousing the siblings with water, which was so funny. Lol! She makes the perfect mediator for the two. I absolutely love this story. You write beautifully and seamlessly weave the character interactions and histories together. You cannot begin to realize how delighted I am to see each chapter update. You are truly amazing writer. There’s something about this story that makes it so much more than Subterfuge and Sleepless in Ba Sing Se. It is not only the way you address the sensitive topic of long-term spousal abuse and rape, but the way you make the story character-driven and not plot-driven. In this story, every motion in the storyline revolves around your detailed, realistic, and beautiful character decisions, whether they be horrible like Aang’s or well-meaning and brave like Azula’s. I know you have lost interest in this work, and I am so impressed and grateful that you are seeing this story through until the end. This story is magnificent, and I cannot wait to read what happens next!

Aang isn’t an abuser you dumb cunt!

This was tough to read... but in a good way! The relationship between katara and aang really does hurt the heart. Aang really did have a jealous streak throughout the show so it makes sense that his insecurities would build and manifest into something darker. Especially if he had the influence of a previously corrupted avatar.
Although something aang said to zuko feels slightly contradicting. Or is it what the fire sage said... about the avatar spirit expunging the tarnished soul from the cycle? Maybe I misread it? But if the spirit was punished and blocked from the avatar state, wouldn't that spirit have a difficult time contacting aang when he asks for advice. As I say it, it crossed my mind that there was probably a dark turning point for aang and I'm almost curious on how it unfolded and how you would present it. I truly do enjoy the high and lows that you've put the characters through. I'm happy that zuko and katara have been brought together even though its from horrifying circumstances. Thank you for sharing your work!
