OH DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH INFINITE, I'M SO CONFLICTED! OMGOD! I've been seeping in worry since the show, I've watched so many youtube videos and read so many articles, literally been through all the threads on reddit and I'm still worried. I have strong opinions myself and we can discuss them in the PM later if you want, you mention a lot of the points that worry me. Did I ever tell you how I love your long chapters? I do, they're so entertaining to read, there's so much going on and it's worth it to wait every Sunday to get a new fill, it was so worth it! Thank you for giving us more wedding stories, I loved to see all the characters come together at last, I'm so hung up on Fred and Veta, their son is named Gabriel! I like it that it's a name that can be both in English and Spanish and it sort of honors both heritages, I would say? Since you mentioned a few times that Veta is probably latina? I like it. Halsey made me a little sad, but I guess she's that kind of person... it's often demonstrated in the books that she has regrets, not about saving humanity but about everything else I guess. That final scene with John and Cortana dancing, it reminds me a lot to the other fic you posted, totally different context but it seems like a wink to that story, so good. And now you promise us wedding night! I'M OVER THE MOON WOMAN, THIS IS TOO MUCH!

I think your the first person I’ve seen that doesn’t like the new look Master Chief has, I personally like Halo 4 and 5’s look wasn’t my favorite but it was good. Halo Infinite on the other hand I absolutely love it my new favorite Master Beef is best Chief.

Sexy and sweet as always. I was wondering if Cortana was going to talk to the Arbiter about Humanity's religions (seeing as they went into the chapel) but I liked where their conversation went. Lopis and Fred are finally together (for the foreseeable future) and all our couples are lining up very nicely. I love the idea of an adult Sarah spin-off but I feel that would maybe be better as a one-shot rather than a long-fic? Just an idea.

I'm surprised you dislike Chief's MK VI GEN 2 MOD (or is it GEN 3?) design from Infinite- something like 90% of the Halo community loves it. I personally like it a lot, but I do miss the Chief's armor from 4. I think 5 also made it a bit too action-figurey. And thank you for not whining about the demo graphics like how every single fucking person in the Halo community does at the moment.

Now for some of your questions regarding Infinite: There's a novel being released this October (that you mentioned) titled Shadows of Reach, which will expand upon the post Halo 5 timeline and possibly give us an explanation on the status of the Created as well as explain how the Banished come into UNSC space. As for Locke- there was a bunch of leaked Mega Construx sets that show a Brute named "Hyperius"- the interesting thing being Locke's helmet (or something like it) on his right shoulder. So maybe he is dead?

Also, there were some post Halo 5 stuff in a Halo Anthology novel concerning Lord Hood and ONI.

How do you feel about the Banished as the new "primary" villain (as it seems that 343's throwing away the Created)? I love the Brute shown in the demo- Escharum- who tells the Chief to "set a fire in his heart". People say he's too corny but Halo was never supposed to be super-serious anyways.

And on a slightly more off-topic ranty note- I just want to say that the majority of the Halo community are like SPOILED children. You know that Courage the Cowardly Dog scene where he keeps bringing mac and cheese to Muriel (look it up on YT if you have no idea what I'm talking about) and she keeps complaining about it? That's what the Halo community feels like at the moment. They whine about lack of gameplay for Infinite (we are in the middle of a pandemic, hello?!) they whine about graphics (but the old games are still good apparently) they whine about the story (but Halo's story isn't exactly god-tier writing) they whine about the sandbox, they whine about the fucking artstyle- they whine when 343 gives them what they want! It's so mind-boggling watching Bungie fanboys criticize every. single. decision that 343 makes. I feel bad for them because they can never please the fans. And I bet you those same fans will wonder why Halo is practically dead.

Sorry about the rant but the sheer hate boners that 75% of the Halo community has for 343 is frustrating. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I know how you feel...H4 armor was my favourite in terms of looks as well but there was a problem...It only LOOKED realistic, in functionality however it seems the least practical with lesser armor covering and way too big shoulder pads for any viable movement...Infinite armor (Gen3) seems more like a love child of H4 and H3 armor... Power of Nostalgia is indeed a powerful thing...Plus it not only looks realistic but also quite practical in mobility...Best of both worlds I will say...

Now need to pull strings to get Fred and Vegas son home.

Loving the other couples there and I'm surprised about Kelly lol godmother I wasn't expecting it but what you say about Halo Infinite in the end, I thought it looked good I'm digging this classic style and they said the demo was an older build so I hope it's gonna get better before it's out to play, I'm very excited and hyped and sure you got nice questions there but I'm not too worried, I think? Like the wedding segment alot. My favorite was probably Fred getting of his butt and finally getting what he wants. Great chapter overall but I agree with the points you had about infinite, but I'm sure they probably do have Cortana in it, as the previous trailers have her in it. This is probably going to have The Spirit of Fire in it as technically, they were counted as dead but we know there alive. Now are they gonna be a huge help in it, Idk but hopefully things get explained. This was great and kinda sad to see this ending soon but am glad I was swept into the journey. Have a great day.

This is why I hate the frozen fandom sometimes. They go to great lengths to make up last names, more often than not ridiculous, when there's perfectly usable ones they can get from real life. Elsa and Anna Agnarsdottir even sounds cool, at least to my ears. Agnarsdottir. Yep, cool. There's even real women named exactly that.

It's always nice to see the arbiter. I love the fish out of water kind of trope, which he fits perfectly, being a literal alien from another planet. His ignorance and confusion dealing with human behavior, and his biased interpretation of it, is always fun to read.

This chapter is again, really sweet. Looking forward to Fred talking with Lopis- surely it'll be tense. The Arbiter giving Sarah a ceremonial energy sword feels really in character lol. The chess match and the implication between Anders and Linda was great too. Will Alpha-Nine show up in this story at some point in the next five chapters (I doubt it- I only made the connection that Veronica Dare was ONI just now) but it'd be cool to see more Halo universe characters making cameos and whatnot.

Now, if only Sergeant Avery Johnson were here...
