Hey man i know im super late on this but u should have definitly finished this fanfic its awesome but sad it left on a clifthanger man if you still cant finish it i understand but good job on making this fanfic its badass!

According to that ending there that figure would be the killer who killed Mike and Zoey's son Riley.

When are you going to make a new story after a while for today? I like the stories you had done and all. But do you think the first fanfiction called "Love Bites" needed to be remaked so it would make more sense? I really do have a feeling to do it.

This annual Purge reminds me a good deal of the Festival from the (original) Star Trek episode, "The Return of the Archons". During the annual Festival, the mind-controlled population was released from that control for one night, allowing them to vent all the suppressed basal urges that had accumulated over the previous year. The next morning, the mind control was reinstated, so the people went from placid to maniacal to placid again at the literal flips of a switch. The main differences from the Purge of your story appear to be that (a) there was no advance preparation for the Festival, and (b) everyone in a certain age range was required to participate. (People in that age range who did not participate were assumed to not be mind-controlled in the first place, in which case "Lawgivers" were sent to correct the oversight.)

Although the premise of this story doesn't really grab me, I have no real complaints about the writing. The hunted TD characters seem in character; and while some of the Purgers seem OOC, that's to be expected given the nature of the Purge.

It's fine, take your time. Don't feel rushed. I really enjoyed this chapter, and 'am looking forward to reading the next one when it comes out. Things seem to be getting all the more interesting by the moment. I really do like this type of story, it's very suspenseful and unique in itself.

You got me trying to figure out who got in a wreck with Mike that caused him to lose his son, Riley. I have my guesses, but I won't spoil it in case I'm right. ;)

Either way, keep up the good work!

Hmm...I wonder who Duncan and Dawn's purger is? And who killed Mike's kid? I'm glad Emma and Kitty are safe. Can't wait to read the next one when it comes out! Keep going!
