This was great, and i just. :D 3 Petition for you to upload all your fics here to ao3 (bc ao3 is better xD) -amahami from ao3 (Maybe i'll change my name on here now that i'm not a weeb) |
Shadowfire04 chapter 1 . 5/12/2018 love this. that's all i need to say also somebody kicking roy into shape is great and i love especially it's ed doing it because he's probably the one who can relate to roy the best |
lexieconextreme chapter 1 . 11/11/2017 ha ha yes |
Aquarica chapter 1 . 5/4/2017 Hahahaha love that ending. Nice story! |
LongLiveHumour chapter 1 . 3/30/2017 As someone with a fear of heights, the scene where Roy suddenly realises he's on the roof with no idea where the edge is was especially vivid. The moment where his mental picture of the hospital shatters is fantastic. And I suspect anyone, acrophobic or not, can understand the absolute panic of not knowing where you are, or worse, thinking you know and learning you were wrong. "Again he ended up off the mark, sightless eyes staring a little to his right, and Ed had to stop himself from stepping after it. It would accomplish nothing." 3 "You poke a hornet's nest, and you don't get information. You get hornets." I don't know why, but I laughed. Nitpick: "bespoke of absolute terror" should be "spoke of" (bespoke custom-made). There's another one lower down. Hearty appreciation for Edward's aggressive approach. Nothing else would suit him, and it probably wouldn't suit Mustang either. (I'm also really happy you subverted my expectations of the reason for Mustang's presence on the roof. I'm rather tired of the "character pondering angstily on roof" trope, even if it does make for some great visuals.) |
Rufescent chapter 1 . 7/13/2016 Oh wow. This is great! Not going to lie, my eyes definitely misted over when Edward was giving his angry pep-talk. Ahh, so emotional and heart-wrenching. Just, beautiful! Everyone was definitely in-character and this entire situation is realistic and very much needed to tie up characters' behaviors in the end. Thanks for sharing! |
lilaclily00 chapter 1 . 6/23/2016 SO JUST CAN'T SPEAK IN FULL SENTENCES I TEARED UP A BIT BEAUTIFUL |
Griselda Banks chapter 1 . 6/23/2016 This was brilliant! I never thought about it before, but you're completely right - Mustang needed a good kick in the pants to get him back on the right track after such a devastating loss. He couldn't just keep going with such determination before he heard that regaining his sight was even a possibility. And Ed is such a great person to give him that push. I honestly don't think anyone else could have succeeded. Especially because Mustang did the same thing for him. It was also really believable that Ed would assume Mustang was going to jump in the midst of his despair. Thanks for a great read! |
Narniadreamer1 chapter 1 . 6/18/2016 Amazing! Loved it, Thanks for sharing :) |
