I don't know if you'll end up seeing this as it's been a while since you've updated, but I'm going to say it anyways. I read this story and it's prequel and I absolutely loved them! Your writing style is wonderful—you have a great balance between dialogue, action, and descriptions. I really like seeing the way Merlin is trying to cope and the ways that his friends are trying to help. I'm a sucker for stories with hurt-Merlin and protective-friends, and this one is really good. I think you've done an amazing job portraying how different characters react to events and other such things.
I'm sorry that life isn't good right now and I hope that things start to look up for you. If one day you feel like writing again, please know that there are people who would really enjoy reading your stories. I'd love to find out who the mysterious plotting knight is and how the issue with Drin is going to be sorted out.

You’ll probably never see this as it has been a long while since this fic was updated and a lot has happened since. I just wanted to say how much I truly enjoyed it, your writing skills are a gift. I think my favourite part is the petty rivalry between Gwaine and Arthur, they don’t realise how similar they are! It’s so endearing, and I love the way you do justice to Gwen and Merlin’s friendship, because even the BBC seemed to forget about that towards the end. I’m aching to know who the knight trying to do away with Merlin is, and I’d also love to find out if Merlin ever does heal his magic...here’s hoping that one day you may find yourself motivated once more and decide to continue this brilliant story. I hope life has been kind to you.
