Melaina chapter 1 . 9/7/2017
This was really well written! I've been having a hard time ever since the Orlando incident since I'm bisexual, and it hurt to know that my feelings could get me killed. This helped.

Queen-of-Ice101 chapter 1 . 6/17/2016
I really loved this story. When it came on the news about the shooting and the amount of people that had been caught up in it I cried. All those lives lost to a senseless hate crime. I personally am straight but I have several friends that are part of the LGBTQ community and the idea of losing them made my heart hurt.

For a lot of us there isn't anything we can do personally for the victims of the shooting and I think that it's really awesome how you created your own little memorial piece for those who either are in the LGBTQ community and for those who have lost someone in the LGBTQ community.
ThatLittleIndian chapter 1 . 6/15/2016
This brought tears to my eyes. Well, I don't understand, and so I don't claim to understand what was going through that terrorist's mind. I think that what he has done is something that will affect a LOT of people, possibly in the worst ways. Even though my school is a Christian school (though I am a Hindu), we had a mention of that in class. Though it was very vague and more related to the number of people who were victimized by this. I don't really care about religions. Yes, I do follow Hinduism, but I think that everyone is entitled to follow whatever they believe, provided they don't hurt anyone else. Personally, I believe that god is about acceptance. I hope that all those who were victims of the disaster rest in peace. My sympathy and empathy from the other side of the world.
hafizatul sufiah yaacob chapter 1 . 6/15/2016
as a muslim who don't support lgbtq but also against isis i want to apologizes in behalf of conservative muslims all over the world for this massacre.. i may not support lgbtq but i felt that people have right to make choices.. and yes i do believe homosexuality and trans are sin as we fought against our designation, however i also believe in second chances and repent.. yes it is stated in the quran that god condemn them but it didn't give us right to condemn people as we are also not perfect.. I believe that since god will punish them in the afterworld, why not ease their life in this world.. besides every religion in this world believe if we don't have faith in their god, we will be in hell. for me, let god judge you in the end.. who knows maybe we are much more worst than all the people we condemn.. again, i'm sorry for the heartache that this soo called muslim that use our religionas excuse to bring terror for the sake their own hatred..

sincerely,
sufiah..

Imma go look for more these... I'd write my own, but I'm bad at keeping Nico in character.
percabethbooklion chapter 1 . 6/14/2016
It was absolutely horrendous what that hate filled man committed. He stole all of those innocent lives who did nothing but love while all he did was hate. It was an even major blow to the LGBT community bc it is pride month, a time for them to be celebrated, not slaughtered.

I am so grateful to all of the people down in Orlando that donated blood. They are prime examples of the kindness and tolerance still in our country.

I personally do not agree w the immediate label of terrorism on the attack. First and foremost, this was a hate crime of mass proportion. The government of this country institutes racism and prejudice over the minorities that comprise its population.
