Think of all the interactions you could mine by expanding on this idea! If you line up the Avengers timeline and Harry Potter timeline like this, the Battle of New York could be fought during Harry's first summer back from Hogwarts. You could have Aurors in London when Malekith accesses the Convergence, just imagine that scene, it'd be better than the movie itself! The Wizarding World could be reeling with terror at the news of what happened to Sokovia ["muggles are too dangerous to ignore anymore!"]. Hell, Order of the Phoenix would just about coincide with Civil War.

You could have Arthur Weasley marveling at Tony's Mark LXXXV assembling around him ["muggles have magic now!"], Black Widow giving Hermione advice on infiltration, the Hulk fighting giants, Spider-Man tangling with Acromantulas, Scarlet Witch fighting Death Eaters, Captain America and Black Panther infiltrating Hogwarts just before the battle, maybe even Doctor Strange teaching Harry and Hermione the wandless magic of Kamar-Taj to give them an edge.

Hell, you could do an entire series just crossing over Harry Potter and Doctor Strange.

Just the idea of a battle between Iron Man and Voldemort really tickles me. I'd see Tony engaging a House Party Protocol and playing the shell game with his suits to avoid the killing curse, really pushing the Dark Lord to his limits. It could rival the Battle of Titan.

I'm right there with you that this is a great idea, but you're only scratching the surface.
