This is an interesting concept and I like the blending of the four. I can't wait to see the development between Neji and Naruto.

I think the reason he graduated the same age (12yrs old) is because student has an option of taking or participate as an earlyngraduation exam if the student wants to..

Alright I can see why you would change the age of that kids go out into the world as shinobi, but what I don't get is why did you cut and paste the opening to the anime/manga? For one I would expect a 17 year old Naruto who is quiet and distrusts everyone to react entirely differently then a downtrodden still somewhat naïve 12 year old Naruto. That's the age difference between an (last year of) Elementary (or first year of middle school)l kid and a high school senior...
If you are going to change something drastic such as the age and mental development of the character they will make different choices. And it also wouldn't hurt to change the plot or to have skipped to when in the plot you were actually starting YOUR story. I've seen Naruto's opening and read it who knows how many times...it's just not engaging or original anymore no matter how much original side content you put in.
Part of me really wants to read on but I want to read YOUR story, not a rehash of Naruto with different internal dialog.

Naruto failed the test twice by trying to take it early while still in the academy, thats why he is the same age as his classmates, he wasnt held back or forced to repeat a year or anything, he was trying to finish early. Team Gai graduated a year before narutos grpup, so theyre only a year to a year and a half older
