| Fleur24 chapter 1 . 7/10/2016 First read this wonderful story when you first published it, and have read it multiple times since. I have finally gotten around to reviewing it. I love the idea behind this story. The Soulmates AU is fun to read about, and this is one of my favorites. I love how you started with the kiss at the end of the Parting of the Ways, and we got to see the Doctor's reaction to being marked. I liked how you had a bit of history with this idea, and how soulmates found other with a kiss. Its more intimate than just hearing the first words your soulmate says to you, seeing as you might not have the best first meeting, or impression of that other person. Its rather romantic to have the signature of your soulmate branded over heart. I like also that that the soulmates takes on the longer lifespan of one of the soulmates. Love Rose's line "Still the Doctor and Rose in the TARDIS" as a change to their reaffirming of wanting to travel together. One of my favorite parts, is that Rose only finds the Doctor's name on her chest after the events of that Christmas invasion. The soul mark, just confirms what she already knew and accepted. She didn't need the mark to recognize the Doctor, or to love him, but it helped knowing that he felt the same way as she did. Which means we can skip past all the angst and dancing around whether they were a couple or not. Finally I like how you end this with the exchange of the rings, and the famous promise of 'forever' between them. |

| Loca8892 chapter 1 . 6/21/2016 That has got to be the most adorable Rose/Doctor one shot I've read in a while. And the whole soulmate thing had me squealing like a crazy person. I've always thought that Rose and the Doctor were(and still are) soulmates. Rose really was the only one to make him, not just better, but truly happy. The fact that they aren't together kills my soul, which is why in my mind they are together forever. I'm not even gonna get into my thoughts on River or Clara cuz then this will turn into a really long rant. Anyway... I loved this! You've got to be one of my favorite authors :D |

Normally I would beg for another chapter and while you could definitely add to this story if you wanted, I think it works great as a stand alone :) Thank you for such a beautiful story.
