So, I totally freaked out when this story came to an end because it's just so good! Thank you for writing this bc you completely messed up with my mind and made me read all the chapters within some hours (and I totally had a test the other day). Keep the good work!

Not the ending I was hoping for but I should know by now not to expect that from you. You definitely have a way to keep us guessing. I was hoping that after all the angst they went through, that they would get the happiness and love they deserved. Not fair, guess I am just a romantic at heart.

I am also not sure if I missed something. Why was Emily assigned by the CIA to the BAU? Did they suspect a mole working there with regards to Doyle? Emily said she should have left years ago when her job was completed, so what did she complete?

Despite the ending, I loved your story and the way you write Emily is amazing.

Clyde was right about how Emily would need to get to Doyle. I think it took a lot of strength of will to finally do it, pull the trigger. Regarding Jack, I have a feeling she always knew she would love him immediately, her weakness.

What? Where is she going? Why are you doing this? Cruel, woman, just cruel. Have them making up already!

Emily really is a tortured soul. Even Aaron is able to admit his love for her, that he wants to be more with her. I know she is afraid of her past, I just wish she could just let herself be in a loving relationship. So well done. Love the angst.

I normally don't like Emily and Hotch stories but one is amazing. I love you jumping back and forth in time and being in both of their heads.

I liked how Dave was surprised that Emily and Hotch had kept their secret for 5 years, especially considering how perceptive he can be. Yet, all this time and they still can't seem to just be together like normal people, but I guess, they are not normal people...

I'm looking forward to see where you take this story next. It's a bit dark, but the characterization is spot-on. Nice work!

Wow, this was a dark sad chapter. I felt their despair, so well written. It was hard to see them both fall apart, but sometimes it has to get worse before it gets better.
