| OnceABlueMoon chapter 1 . 2/12/2017 Deaths musing were very poetic, beautifully written! It really has the tone of a being old and haunting, so very detached from the concept of life, yet entwined with it because where there is no life, there is death. The sentence: ''And here he was, walking to his death before his time, with square shoulders and life burning thought his veins of basilisk venom and phoenix tears.'' had a typo in it (Thought instead of through), but that did not diminish the way it enchanted me. Such an epic description! The same is definitely true for: ''Death would become home for the boy who had death written into his bones as a babe, and whose hands were stained with future blood before he even breathed.'' Betwitching! "The world is filled with magic, how could such a story be false." truly illustrated the kind of MOD Harry is in this story. In this sentence: ''Death swooped forward, billowy black smoke so thick it was endless; like staring into a black-hole, death had been led to believe.'' the capital letter in Death's name is missing. I love how you showed, once again, how far Death is from humanity by the '''death had been led to believe'' part. The word choices were masterful! Thank you for the great read! |

| Burn-in-the-sun chapter 1 . 6/17/2016 This was gorgeous! I was a little confused though, how many Masters has Death had? It sounded like just Ignotus with many potentials, but then maybe not even Ignotus? And Death kept referring to all his masters before Harry (Harry was the youngest of them) which would imply more than one at least, but Death hadn't accepted any of the others? So a little confused, but that didn't detract from how beautifully this was written. Thank you for posting! |
