You asked for constructive comments regarding people being in character; I would encourage you to be extra careful with spelling and grammar when writing professors. It’s a bit jarring when educated characters make grammar errors.

You have Minerva saying: “ ...both her and your father were exceptional students.” Several times so far, you’ve used the object form of a pronoun where it should have been the subject form: “both she and your father were exceptional students.” (To help decide, try it in the singular. If you wouldn’t say “her was an exceptional student” then you also wouldn’t say “her and your father were exceptional students.”)

Ok, the weird thing about what was said at the trial is that you said that veritiserum had been administered. So, if that was the case, how could Peter lie? When Peter shouted, "That's a lie!" He was lying, which should not have been possible if he had been given veritiserum.

This was a good chapter. I loved Remus and Harry together.

You asked at the beginning if you're getting the characters down and really, we haven't seen much of anyone but Harry, Dumbledore and McGonagall. I mean, we did see Snape and Pomfrey but barely.

The character that feels totally wrong to me is Dumbledore. He acts like he had a personality transplant, lol! In the books, he really wasn't THAT caring towards Harry and I have trouble suspending belief enough to ever believe he would allow Harry to live anywhere other than the Dursley's. But, I will continue reading to see if this somehow becomes believable.

I almost HATE Dumbledore, so yeah, pretty unbelievable to me.

Can you make a story in which Harry and Hogwarts watching the fantastic beasts? Please

Yay! at Harry, REmus and Sirius having found Slytherin's locket ages earlier than when it was found in canon.

IMO Hermione should lend her books containing information for muggleborn witches and wizards to Harry, because he was muggle-raised, so all of that information in those books would be useful and new to him too.

Excellent ideas, Harry, getting everybosy hot choclate from the house elves in the kitchen and then to go talk to McGonagall about Neville getting his own wand after she's helped convince Neville's grandmother.

AW! Bless the Tonks family for taking in their cousin Sirius for a little while while he recuperated from 12 years in Azkaban.

IMO Sirius should also receive money to compensate for his 12 years of being wrongly imprisoned in Azkaban.
