I like how you don't necessarily say they live happily after, but that they do live.
The mingling of dreams and the present are interesting too, and the comparison to the piece of art. I assume that's what inspired this piece for you as well as Roxanne.

Well i starts worrying about my mental status... i was 100% sure i had left a review for this fic... but nothing is here. Ahem... sorry.
This is by far my favourite one shot fic in the Megamind fandom. It is a "wow" fic.
It is a beautiful love story told so well... i am amazed by the description of the development of Roxannes feelings for Megamind. It is soooo special.
I am outraged by Megaminds pic. How could have it been possible to have it published? I feel so bad for him.
I also felt sooo good by Megaminds interruptoon of Roxanne. It is great. The kast lines of the fic is great " ...and they live...", "yes". Wonderful, great.

I am sure this is my favorite Megamind's fanfiction. I love the way in which you use languaje and the relation between the Fisherman's Wife, Andromeda and Roxanne. It takes my breath away each time I read it. I may be in love with your writting.

I know I already reviewed this on Tumblr, but I'll say it again: this is an awesome use of the art theme in Megamind, poetic language, and the meta of seeing iThe Dream of the Fishemran's Wife/i as essentially fanfic of a Japanese legend. It's also just a beautiful story.

Typical of art historians to get it wrong. A woman is usually labelled as somebody's wife or servant or something. But the "wife" here is a pearl diver. Great discussion of art and meaning, and rape fantasies! I've never really understood those either. (Though I think I understand a little better now.) I love all of this, Roxanne tracking down the ones responsible for that photo and delivering the names to Megamind, especially that. I love how you tied it all together to make a different ending for Megamind!

I am shaking SHAKING with rage. Why isn't Wayne stopping them? This is child pornography, taken secretly. I want Roxanne to take the tabloid and tear it to shreds I want her to go and seek out Megamind, pirating the air waves the way she's seen megamind do a thousand time she airs a clip of her screaming in horror and revulsion it isn't hard to do she already feels like screaming at these people, these monster who pass this around like its a fucking joke, the second it airs Metroman and Megamind will come running of course they will she is the only person in this whole damn city who knows and cares about them Metroman flies up with a "What's wrong, Roxie? You never scream?" And Megamind is armed to the teeth and frantic ready to face anything horrifying enough to scare HER and she spins on them, grabs Megamind by the collar and drags him to her wrapping her arms around and shielding him from the world she tells Wayne he's going to release a statement to the press about how fucked up this is she stares him down until he nods and leaves to do just that then she takes a gun out of Megamind's hands and promised him they will hunt everyone involved in that and they will PAY! Sorry I got carried away with my revenge fantasy. Your writing just makes me feel so much!
