Hiccstrid? Yes? No? Maybe? I'm going to be brutally honest. No Hiccstrid No follow or favorite. When I read anything that has either of them with anyone else I have an unbearable weight in my stomach, I'm not going to torture myself.

I like the plot but the the old story had length.

Is Hiccup going to become some sort of ruler of an empire? perhaps a serious and less naive one (and finally one who isnt for some reason still madly in love with astrid?)?
So far great story cant wait to see more.

Is this series going to continue on a daily basis? This is pretty good so far.

On one hand, I don't think that the description of the guy's face can hint us as to who this dragon King is. Unless something horrible happened to Hiccup...

I like what you did with this chapter. Please keep going. I cannot believe that I am the only one commenting on this excellent story. I am sure others will before long. I assume both Astrid and Hiccup are somewhat flawed (at least compared to what we usually see on this site) and/or OOC in this fic. They are so out of the norm for what one usually reads in a running and away and returning fic that I am fascinated, and look forward to more. Thank you.

Nice (possibly angsty?) twist with the Astrid/Cain thing. I am just wondering how she could have forgotten that night? Apparently, the ride and discovery of the nest did not make as much of an impression nor motivate her to prepare for Hiccup's return as it should have. So much for her dedication to helping Berk. Am I being too hard on her? This is good, all kinds of different ways this story can go from here. AND, of which dragon lord might we be speaking here? Lots of possibilities. Please, continue.
