wow, when you do details, you go all out. i like seeing waverly's thoughts from that car ride and their continuation at the bar. ugh...that car ride sounded like the most uncomfortable 10 minutes. great description and emotion at that bit. i think this whole time of change and finding herself is super important for waverly and i'm glad you're showing the struggles about it. i remember dominique had said in an interview that this was something she really connected with the character on.

i was a little confused of the ending. so they are still in nedley's office? the very last line made the previous a bit ambiguous to me. i think you might've had a better ending with her just outside the station. cos so far these chpts have been like the 'inbetweens' of wav and nicole's conversations. plus, you had gone in to such great detail on interactions before but then nedley's office ends up being 2 lines? yeah i think it would've made more sense to have cut those and save mention of them for the next (?) chapter.

woah, that's a lot of processing going on in this fic for nicole. i get a bit irked in shows when ppl move so quickly on from traumatic events. i get that it's a show and they can't show like every nightmare or time to talk about it, especially when there's constant threats, but i think it'd make the character more human to see even the smallest bits of dealing w/ it. so thanks for giving a moment where we can see nicole processing all the things. besides that, i liked this idea in general when nicole realized they were not having the same conversation. also cool how nicole met gus and gus was the one that sent nicole to p/u waverly. i'd love to see you riff off the actual conversation they had and put in what you wished happened.

Love it and though i adore WayHaught and what the show has brought us, we don't see a lot of what happened in between their scenes - it just jumps form one to another - thank god for the likes of you and the world of ff to fill in the blanks.
