Oh I just finished the story this morning. Tears were literally running down my face during this last chapter. You captured everything so well! Jody's pain, Sam's guilt, Dean's relief, all of it. And you managed to capture the bond between boys even with Sam being 3 for most of the story. You are an amazing writer, and this one of the best stories I have ever read. Can't wait to go check out what else you may have!

Awww, sweet! I just discovered your story when a friend recommended it to me. We are both suckers for de-aged Sammy! I read the first 3 chapters in one sitting, and so far, I love every word of it. I do plan to keep reading, of course, but I wanted to pause for a minute and let you know how much I love it so far!

Supernatural Fanfiction Monthly Awards Review (August 2016):

This story was as much about Jody as it was about Sam and Dean. It was a nice touch, using Jody's pov throughout. As an outside perspective - in the know, part of the family but on the periphery, with love for the boys but without being close enough to know it all, she combines the viewpoint of the newcomer with that of the trusted confidant. So we still get the shocks and surprise of someone who's learning the Winchesters with the familiarity of the mother figure. Her reactions to Dean and Sam's history and Dean's guarded responses about those years made this much more than a simple hurt/comfort piece.

I thought that you excelled at showing the complex shifts in the relationship between Jody and the boys in this story. Jody never seemed too overbearing or perfect... As a mother, she was just right for little Sammy, but you brought her pain out well and we could tell it was not easy for her. Nothing was easy in this story (except Sammy's hugs - but who would reject those? I'll take a dozen.) at the end, both she and Dean - and Sammy - had the conflict of whether or not to change him back. It was fitting, I thought, that Sam cemented the decision because Dean needed him. Quite a self-sacrifice, for with Sam coming back, Sammy would be destroyed.

I enjoyed your Sammy but I wasn't sure if you overdid his lisp a little. It was quite pronounced, those fwees and fwoms. I have heard of kids with lisps like that at that age, but at times it bothered me... I felt maybe it was a little too much. It did not keep me from enjoying the story overall...
