Please continue! I just couldn't stop laughing at the end of chapter 23.

This kinda seems like 2 stories for me. The beginning was really great. Little Sesshie was cute as was Yash. Story was lovely till ch14. Then from ch15 turns weird. Kids adopting kids (yes Kag's technically old enough in that era to be married but from her actions it's obvious she's so not ready). Kag sneaks in orphaned Ship, Ship calls her mama and Sess papa (he's old enough to speak?!). Then leaves/forgets about him and runs away. Sess also rejects him too. I can't blame them too cuz they're too young to barely look after themselves let alone a baby! (Looks like Kimi/Taisho's adopted Ship too and while that's much more preferable to SK adopting him, really wish they didn't. They've already adopted a human girl... Honestly dunno what Ship's doing in this story...). Kimi/Taisho bit weird too, doesn't seem like adults making mistakes but more like shortsighted teens...

All stories need drama/angst but all the drama seemed quite forced. It feels like to get Kag to run away, Taisho and Kimi are made kinda dumb. Taisho throws a courting party more to prove that Sess isn't in love with Kag (and to show his love for the girl). That Kimi suggests the party, and even lies to Kag to supposedly get SK together was weird cuz didn't see how that was supposed to bring them together. It seemed more like something a teen would think up of, not a mature mom (and being youkai she's like centuries older too!). When Kikyo comes and speaks of reading Kag's stars and that she's in danger, instead of rushing out, people are sitting around speaking about it calmly. Instead of being worried, Miroku even calmly asks why Kikyo read Kag's stars. Later on, the reason why he asked this was explained later that Kikyo can't read her stars (so there was a reason) but still, in this scene it's all very surreal, especially with people all acting a bit weird.

Thanks for the story though, and nice try. I loved the first 1/2 of this story but sorry it's getting a bit too weird for me so I'm stopping here. My suggestions would be to try to make drama without forcing it by either making things a bit too unbelievable or illogical or by sacrificing characters. Also, it may help to write up detailed character profiles on the characters to remind you of their background when you think up their action or speech. Eg so that adults may act more like adults (people would think and act very differently as 16Y, 30Y or 50Y let alone 400Y youkais), children aren't adopting babies. Btw is Ship a baby or an older child? He's in a basket so thought was a baby (and he's called baby fox) but was surprised that he's eating dried fruits, and speaking and jumping so seems more like a child...

I love this story! I came back to read the updated chapters! It makes my heart hurt so good when I read about Sesshoumaru and Kagome! I hope you can update soon because I’m dying for more!

It's like the story had a major change in how the characters are. They'really OOC for themselves. Almost like someone else is writing. Not really in a good way tho. Maybe reread and you may notice what I mean. Not being mean at all, just trying to help.
