Wow, the sweetest of sweet stories. So refreshing to read Jyou's love proclamations, so open and free. I'm so used to the Mimato version of this where it's solely Mimi doing all the gushing! I like both versions of love for Mimi, but this really can't be beat.

Aww, where to begin? I love the setting, in a fancy restaurant in New York City that Mimi mentioned ONCE and then Jyou remembered it! Because of course Jyou would remember an important detail like that! He is so thoughtful.
I think that they both feel very real and very much in character, in the ways they contrast with each other and in the ways they help each other grow.
I love how awkward Jyou is and how excited Mimi is.
I LOVE HOW YOU REFERENCE MIMI'S SPEECH FROM TSOL BECAUSE THAT WAS AN AMAZING SPEECH AND YOU ALREADY KNOW I LOVED IT.
But you can probably guess what I love even more in this story, which is the PLOT TWIST! That Mimi ends up asking Jyou to marry her! And he says yes! And then Mimi is so practical that she is happy about that, even though it wasn't what she expected. She is so optimistic and wonderful, and Jyou is so humble and kind.
BEST KIND OF PLOT TWIST. 11/10! What a unique, wonderful story.

I'm sorry I got here a week too late. I have been extremely busy, entirely devoid of free time - but my project went well and I can take time now to enjoy your lovely gifts.

This was adorable! My favorite thing about this has to be the irony of Mimi wondering about how the proposal was going to go - only for Jou to take her words as a proposal. As traditional as he is, I can imagine it would be a relief for him to hear it from her first... so yes. That's them, right there.

There's a beautiful sense of intimacy in the moment two people decide they want to be together forever (whether it's a proper proposal or not) and you built up to it fairly well. I enjoyed too that they discussed how much they'd changed since their adventures in the Digital World, and how well they communicate in general. There was a feeling of privacy to this all that was, to me, pretty immersive.
