This fic has just the most perfect sense of longing. It's overwhelming in such a good way, and then the kiss at the end soothes the sting before the last line brings the longing crashing back again, larger and more powerful than ever.

Great story. Love the last few minutes of dialogue and the kiss. So well written and descriptive, yet keeping both in their characters and certainly within cannon.
