Great fic

Very perfect. This is like, everything I wanted from an X-Men Apocalypse missing scene!

Oh, this is such a beautiful, well-written "fix it" scene - just what all of us Cherik shippers wanted after Apocalypse, and like Hank, we've been wanting it since Cuba! The opening part of this story is especially well-done. I love contrast of Apocalypse's destruction looking peaceful post-fight, and the way you show where all the main characters are and what they're doing; that feels a tiny bit rushed in some spots, but I think it only makes it more effective when Hank's point-of-view reaches Charles and Erik and the descriptions slow down.

You write the interaction between Charles and Erik so well - the gentle teasing ("You look like hell"), Charles's sympathy for his family, Erik's admiration that he was able to resist Apocalypse. My one issue was with Erik's "you're the only family I have left" line. This film established that Peter is Erik's son and that he knows who his father is. It felt really strange for the writers to confirm that but then not really do anything more with it, and it feels equally strange here. I think now would be a pretty good time for Peter to approach Erik.
