| cutesherry chapter 17 . 1/17/2012 I was really really really and I mean REALLY surprised! How come I only noticed the epilogue now, YEARS after reading this fanfic!...and the reason was revealed quite fast: at the time, many years back, I didn't have a laptop, only a desk PC and I really loved certain CCS fanfics but it was a hassle to always need to be necessarily sitting in a chair in front of my desk to do so, so I went on and printed on paper several of them, my favorites, and was able to read them all in bed or wherever I wanted for that matter. I actually still have the printed pages and the thing is: each time I re-read Because of You (and I re-read it several times along the years), I re-read the version...without the epilogue...very stupid... Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see more of this story which was, for me, long finished an eternity ago, I guess this is what they meant when they say 'expect the unexpected' That said, my critic is that you made the sweet and kind Sakura a bit weird with her going severely upset over Syaoran not asking her to marry, it clashed with how her character/personality has been described until now, at least, this is how I felt. And in spite of it being comical, I'm also weird out you made Syaoran act out of character too by making him be dumber...let's say let's bright about ceratin things, than he was in the previous chapters too. Sincerely, what bothered me most is that they were supposed to have both grown up along the story, but it feels like their attitude was back to square one -childishness wise- with this chap. |
